Stephen Ministry - God’s love in Action

“Our Prayer”

Our dear Father in heaven: You sent your Son to each us how to show love to one another, to care deeply for one another, to be a child of yours. He taught us how to serve others in your name. He was an example for us in setting priorities and recognizing what is really important in a life of service to You. He showed us how to rely on You for guidance, love, sustenance, and peace. He sacrificed all to show us the way back to you through believing in You and in your forgiveness of our transgressions. He made complete your plan for our salvation and eternal life with You. For all these examples of your love and your Son’s sacrifice for our salvation, we are grateful. As we carry on the work of Stephen Ministry at Faith UMC, lead, guide, and show us the way as we share Your love and care to one who is hurting. In your precious Son’s name we pray. Amen. For additional information, contact Pastor John or any of the Leaders: Janet Miller, John Moore, Linda Schrock, or Cathy Van Huystee.
