Theres lots of interest these days over near-death experiences and understandably so. Whole civilizations like ancient Egypt revolved around preparations for life beyond the grave. Yet it remains shrouded in mystery. Do we cease to exist, morph into a different form, recycle into a different body, see God face to face, or .? While Scripture hides the details, our bibles reveal a spectacular future for those who put their trust in Jesus Christ. 1. Read John 17:3 and begin to frame out a working definition of eternal life. 2. What are the conditions for receiving Gods offer of salvation according to Ephesians 2:8-9?3. What role does good works have in the forgiveness of our sin? See Ephesians 2:8-10.4. Under what conditions can a person lose their salvation? See John 3:15-18, 10:29. 5. How does Revelation 22:1-6 describe the eternity that awaits those who embrace Gods offer of salvation?
