26You are all sons (and daughters) of God through faith in Christ

Jesus,27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor

free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

5Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with

sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

6Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will

of God from your heart. 7Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were

serving the Lord, not men,

8because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for

whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or

thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply, 'I tell you

the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

9And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten

them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism

with him.

2Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one

another in love. 3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
