C2-Lite UT™ tanks are ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including commercial and residential storage, contact, hydropneumatic and degassing applications.

With C2-Lite UT™ series GWS has engineered a line of lightweight composite utility tanks designed to stand up to years of tough service in the field.

C2 Lite UT™ tanks are made using a unique 3 piece internal construction design that allows for consistent engineered dome profiles and integrally bonded connections that lead to longer tank life. Its heavy duty base is molded out of ABS for maximum strength and durability. And, the C2 Lite UT™ tank has a removable schedule 80 PVC bottom connection that can be “accessorized” for increased installation flexibility. C2-Lite UT™ tanks are built to the same stringent quality standards as GWS steel tanks.

The C2Lite UT™ tanks are sold with an air volume control kit and an optional inline air injector is available as well.

C2-Lite UT™ tanks are easy to install, weather resistant and engineered to withstand even extreme environmental conditions. When it comes to performance and durability, the GWS C2-Lite UT™ design cannot be beat.

Chemical disinfection using chlorine is generally considered the method of choice because it is reliable and practical.

The MIXMASTER baffle tank is one of the most effective High Mixing Disinfection Systems currently available. It ensures uniform mixing, and sufficient residence time to meet the CT (contact time) standard set by most health agencies. This remains true even when water is flowing continuously.

With a .8 baffle factor*, it also takes up less space, because one tank does the work of 4 normal tanks. MIXMASTER, like the water that comes out of it, the choice is clear.

The Blue Filtration Series incorporates carbon block filter technology that is highly effective at reducing bad taste and odor from potable drinking water. The filters are made using high performance coconut shell carbon, which has more micropores compared to other types of carbon.

These carbon block filters deliver a product with superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics. These high capacity filters provide cost effective water filtration solutions in a filter size and configuration that offers ease-of-use, extended service life and capacity, at low pressure loss.

Blue Filtration Series

All components and materials are FDA approved, and manufactured from NSF 61 Certified Coconut Shell carbon, and are California Prop 65 Compliant.

The Chloramine Block is a proprietary media with an enormous num-ber of catalytically active Nitrogen Groups for highly efficient reduc-tion of chloramines. This enhanced catalytic functionality has FIVE times more capacity for chloramines reduction than standard carbon blocks.

The Yellow Filtration Series are dual gradient double pleated filtration solutions for extended life and use, with filtration levels of 5 and 20 microns. This Series offers a combination filter composed of an outer layer of Polypropylene String with a Melt blown Polypropylene core. The precise wound pattern provides greater surface area, higher dirt-loading capacity and greater efficiency than standard wound filter cartridges. As a dual media filter, they provide a cost effective, extended-life product capable of capturing a broad range of particulates with high service flow rates greater than 30+gpm with less than 15 Delta P.

SpringTech Cartridge Tank™

Yellow Filtration Series

The large diameter pre-filter reduces particulate loading on the post filter allowing it to perform at higher velocities, capturing fine sedi-ment, sand, silt, rust and scale particles of 50 or 20 microns. This equates to higher particulate reduction and added loading capacity.

The Meltblown core captures 20 or 5 micron particles, (depending on the filter configuration), this dual combination filter extends the life of the inner-cartridge by eliminating premature caking and prevents down stream media migration common in string cartridges.

The Red Filtration Series are pleated Polypropylene cartridges, with multiple levels of filtration flexibility:

The PAC cartridge is for a service flow rate of 15gpm with a removal capacity of 140,000 gal-lons, with a 90% chlorine reduction. This dramatically improves the quality of water by reducing chlorine, bad tastes, foul odors and sediment.

The pleated cartridges are for service flow rates up to 150gpm, with low pressure drop of less than 15psi, are 100% cellulose free media, and cleanable 5 micron and up. Install filters in parallel to achieve higher flow rates or in a series for step filtration, allowing various micron ratings in each Cartridge Tank. This makes these filters an attractive option for those applications that require versatility.

Low Pressure Drop filters are designed to minimize pressure drop by using 2” pipe fittings and large diameter center tubes. (see chart for pressure drop data using pleated cartridges)

Orange Filtration Series

The Orange Filtration Series are dual gradient double pleated filtration solutions for extended life and use, with filtration levels of 5, 10 and 20 microns. The filters are designed with a larger pre-filtration layer externally and the smaller internally, extending filtration level contamination and service life, while achieving high flow and low pressure drop.

The filters will outperform competitive filtration solutions in all turbidity applications including silt, rust, and other particle filtration. The Orange Series also provides lower shear water velocity as the raw water passes through the filter, allowing for more contact time and interaction with the extensive surface areaof the filters. This results in higher water quality and longer life of the filtration system.

The White Filtration Series is a unique and high capacity granular media bottle that allows incorporation of multiple media options and solutions to be used with the series. This filter series is a 0.5 ft3 empty bottle for filling of granular filtration media. This GWS SpringTech™ Cartridge Tank filter series is ideal for a wide range of Residential, Food Service, Commercial, and Industrial applications, and can be used for multiple applications from Service DI, POE for city or well-water installations, Rental Programs, Exchange systems, high-purity pre- or post-filtration applications, etc…the options, configurations, and solutions are endless.

The design also incorporates the patented Vortech® full distributor plate technology, providing uniform distribution and utilization of the media bed along with maximum efficiencies and service flow rates, giv-ing system design maximum flexibility whether installed in up-flow or down-flow service. A removable Top Cap has a locking feature that can be used for limiting access to the internal medias by the end-user, and special Rings on the bottom of the bottle allow for ease of hanging of the cartridge for easy change-out of medias in applications like Service DI Exchange.

SpringTech™ SERIES

The GWS SpringTech Poly-UF™ offers 0.02 micron filtration at service flow rates up to 12gpm, just another tool in the water treatment tool box. Utilizing the patented and industry exclusive liner design, the internal UF module treats colloids, bacteria, cysts, viruses, turbidity, tannins, and other particles down to 0.02 micron size. The backwashable system, allows for multiple standard 2.5” top inlet connections, from standard backwashable control valves to in/out heads. The high surface area UF bun-dles require normal line pressure to operate, low waste discharge when in backwash/cleaning mode, and offer low pressure drop with high service flow rates.

The GWS SpringTech Poly-UF™ can be utilized as a final polishing stage or on water reclamation systems for Rainwater or Grey water, along with offering protection during power outages and intermittent power. The membrane is NSF 61 certified, and the system is BioVir certified and tested for log reduction. The vessel also comes standard with a bottom drain opening for ease of drainage and cleaning purposes of the tank system. Technology that is easy to understand and use.

The patented polysulfone-based Outside/In Ultrafiltration Membrane is designed for turbidity, cyst reduction and finesediment filtration applications, and is NSF 61 certified. The membrane operates with flow from the outside-to-inside, with ben-efits of minimized risk of deep clogging, simple cleaning of the membrane surface with water and/or air, anda high area volume ratio that allows for a compact design. The membrane is non-biodegradable, and has superior mechanical and chemical resistance. The Polymeric Ultrafiltration Vessel System provides point-of-entry (POE) filtration, for safe and clean water at every faucet.

Purefer™ polypropylene filters are made using a unique single nozzle manufacturing process, where a single nozzle blows melted polypropylene onto a spinning filter core. As more polypropylene is blown, the filter diameter gradually widens and the outer filter density decreases. This unique manufacturing process gives Purefer™ filters have a true gradient density that allows for greater dirt holding capacity and higher filtration efficiency than standard spun polypropylene filters and string wound cartridges.
