AnutoneSerge™

The AnutoneSerge BeamGrid metal ceiling fully meets theaesthetic and functional expectations of space designers.The system provides the possibility to create differentgeometrical patterns (square and rectangular) with variousboxes and bandraster profiles. They are available in varioussizes.

All AnutoneSerge BeamGrid panels can be easilydemounted without the aid of any extractor tool.

AnutoneSerge BeamGrid system is ideal for areas suchas offices and airports and spaces where both aestheticsand functionality are required.

AnutoneSerge™

The AnutoneSerge Hook-on Corridor ceiling panels aredesigned to offer the ideal solution for corridors of differentsizes and details. The corridor panels are fully compatiblewith Hook-on profiles, and accessories can be easilydemounted.

Manufactured according to the specific size of each area,the AnutoneSerge Hook-on Corridor system minimizesmaterial loss during installation.

The AnutoneSerge Plank ceiling systems on the other handare composed of modular profiles and panels which canbe installed parallel or perpendicular to each other. Availablein different sizes and options, the AnutoneSerge Plankpanels allow for modern architectural applications throughtheir monolithic appearance.

All AnutoneSerge Plank panels can be easily demountedwithout the aid of any extractor tool. The AnutoneSerge Planksystem is suitable for large areas such as offices and airports.

AnutoneSerge Clip-in Steppe panels provide a monolithicappearance through the Clip-in suspension system andalso allow for different architectural designs with the specialgap at the panel joints. AnutoneSerge Clip-in Steppe panelscan be independently demounted and therefore provideeasy access to the plenum.

The AnutoneSerge Clip-in Steppe ceiling system isavailable in different perforations and colours can be usedin offices, shops and malls.

LightingAnutoneSerge metal ceiling systems can accommodatemost common lighting systems whether lay-in or recessed.Additional panels may be custom prepared to receivespecial fixtures.

AccessibilityAll AnutoneSerge metal ceiling systems are designed foreasy accessibility to the plenum and subsequentreplacement. All systems with the exception of Clip-in areremoved and replaced without tools.

AcousticsAnutoneSerge panels are manufactured with acousticalin-lay to provide the best acoustical solutions. Specialacoustical infill materials can be adapted for specialacoustical requirements.

Cleaning and MaintenanceDust should be removed from the painted surfaces by wipingwith a clean soft cloth. Grease and fingerprints should beremoved with a mild household cleaner suitable for paintedsurfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub the surface.

General Product InformationPlenum ClearanceThe Clip-in, Hook-on and Hook-on Corridor systemsrequire no clearance above the grid system for eitherinstallation or access. Lay-in, Plank and BeamGridrequire plenum clearances typical for all Lay-in typeceiling systems.

Field CuttingMetal ceilings may need to be field-cut to accommodatespecial conditions: less than full module perimeters,columns penetrating the ceiling etc. Such cuts shouldbe made by competent craftsmen using appropriate tools:duct snips, electric sheet metal shears or hand-saws.Extreme care must be taken to prevent damage to thepainted surface or buckling and distortion. Cut edgesshould be concealed with appropriate trim.

Storage and HandlingCeiling components should be stored under conditions ofuse in a dry interior location, and should remain in cartonsuntil installation. Care must be exercised during thehandling and opening of cartons to avoid damage.

Architectural Specifications

GENERAL

1.01 Scope

A. Supply and install AnutoneSerge Metal basedCeiling and Wall panel System as manufactured/suppied by Anutone Acoustics Limited Bangalore– India and as required by the Contract Documents.

B. Related Work Elsewhere

• Preparation of smooth, flat and plumb substrate.

• Architectural Woodwork, Masonry, Doors andFrames, Hardware, Gypsum Drywall,Plastering, Ceilings, Wall Covering Paintingand Electrical Work

1.02 Standards

The AnutoneSerge Ceiling System shall have a firehazard classification Class A.

1.03 Qualifications

The installation work of this Section shall beperformed by an authorized applicator, licensed bythe manufacturer.

1.04 Quality Assurance

a) AnutoneSerge with finishes are plain orperforated.All perforated products can beproduced with various plain borders upon request.

b) The AnutoneSerge shall be installed after theframework is securely fastened to insure perfecthorizontal and vertical grain alignment.

c) The AnutoneSerge shall be removable andreplaceable.

d) The framework shall not “read through” theAnutoneSerge Wall and Ceiling panel System.Noise Reduction Coefficient of upto 0.9

1.05 Submittal

A. Product Data

Submit manufacturer’s product specificationsincluding certified laboratory test reports and other datarequired to show compliance with these specifications.

B. Samples

Provide samples of AnutoneSerge wall and ceilingpanel System, and representative samples of MetalBrackets / fixing cleat / AnutoneSkelet T15 / U15 / Clipin systems

C. Certified Test Reports

• Submit test data from an independent testingagency, acceptable to authorities havingjurisdiction, evidencing that systemscomponents comply with requirements indicatedfor fire performance characteristics. Submit testdata from independent testing agenciesshowing that system complies with the specifiedrequirements for acoustical performance

• Submit installation Dealer’s Limited Warrantyagainst defects in the AnutoneSerge wall andceiling panel System materials andworkmanship.

1.06 Product Handling

A . Store all materials off the ground and protectedfrom dirt and dust of construction operations.

B. Handle materials in a manner that will protectthem from damage and soiling.

1.07 Product Drawings

A. Drawings showing typical reflected wall plans,sectional views and details are to be submitted tothe Architect / Designer

1.08 Maintenance

Extra Stock: As an option, matching replacement stockof AnutoneSerge System of amounts requested byOwner may be required.

2.01 Ceiling & Wall System

The AnutoneSerge™ System shall consist of Metalpanels with perforations that allow soundwaves topass through and get absorbed by the acoustic fabricare manufactured by Anutone Acoustics Limited

The AnutoneSerge™ shall be spot cleanable anddry cleanable.

AnutoneSerge™ systems are designed for easyaccessibility to the plenum and subsequentreplacement.

Anchoring System: Metal brackets / Clip in system /fixing cleat / T15 / U15 / other fastening systems,approved by manufacturer may be used

EXECUTION

3.01 Examination:

A. Examine the condition of the substrate and theconditions under which the work of this Section isto be performed. Notify the Contractor in writing ofany unsatisfactory conditions. Do not proceed withthe work until unsatisfactory conditions have beencorrected in a manner satisfactory to the installer.

B. Field measures each wall and ceiling area whichis to receive the AnutoneSerge panels to establishthe correct layout.

3.02 Installation:

General:

A. Install materials in accordance with manufacturer’sinstructions, and comply with governing regulations,fire resistance rating requirements, as indicated,and industry standards applicable to the work.

B. Apply Metal brackets / clip in system / fixing cleat /T15 / U15. Other fasteners may be used as may berequired for specific substrates, providing they arein strict accordance with the manufacturer’sinstructions and comply with governing regulationsand fire resistance rating requirements specified.

C. Metal brackets/Clip in system / fixing cleat / T15 U15/ level and straight, flushes and in proper alignment.

3.03 Cleaning And Protection

A. Clean exposed surfaces of wall surface asnecessary, comply with manufacturer ’sinstructions for cleaning and repair of minor finishdamage. Remove and replace work that cannotbe successfully cleaned and repaired topermanently eliminate evidence of damage.

B. The Installer shall advise the Contractor of requiredprotection, including soiling from other trades anddust control, so that the work will be withoutdamage and deterioration at the time ofacceptance by the Owner
