“Having said that, while neutrals may be the go-to for a minimalistic home, a couple of bright hues wouldn’t go amiss here. Shades like turquoise and yellow are perfect picks for decorative accents, and also give a boost of happiness and energy.

“It’s not all about colours. When it comes to decorating, small changes can often make a huge impact. Scented candles and aroma diffusers instil a calm, refreshing vibe, while decorating with mirrors and lightweight curtains help maximise natural light for a well-lit, productive space.

“And for a handcrafted look that’s also artfully understated, natural homeware is the way to go. Wooden furniture and elements like woven rugs and rattan baskets add plenty of visual interest and texture, while last but not least, indoor plants and botanical art offer a fresh burst of greenery and a connection to the wild outdoors.”
