    Unit Prevention Leader Profile

Our top-scoring UPL of 3rd QTR 2010 was SGT Bran-don Hert, 587th Signal company. SGT Hert was born

at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to a military family. He has been conducting weekly testing thereby in-

creasing the deterrence effect of the prevention/testingprogram. SGT Hert helped to ensure the training has

been conducted quarterly and the unit will have the re-quired 4 hours of training before the end of the FY.

SGT Hert stated that prevention is the tool to use to

keep drugs out of the unit and keep the Army healthy.
