Our first Family Literacy Night was a great Success!Here’s a peek at the books students were able to choose from!

We were ready for Read Alouds on the rug.

Arts and crafts were on the schedule for after the reading.

Because the 25th was Shel Silverstiens’ birthday, The committee decided that poetry should be on the agenda.

Theme: Poetry

The parents enjoyed watching the students listening to and discussing the poems.

Students and parents alike had a blast browsing the book selection and finding one to call their own!

Families chose poems to illustrate. We have some extremely creative people in our town! The night was a blast, and we cannot wait until the October Event!
