Abbey College Cambridge

Cambridge is a fusion of the everyday and the extraordinary, a place that has shaped our history and continues to make its mark on our future. For over 800 years, the city has been home to the world-renowned University of Cambridge, it is consistently voted as one of the world’s best.

Cambridge is a quiet, safe and very beautiful city. There are an enormous range of cultural, sporting, leisure and entertainment opportunities within the city and the surrounding countryside. It is also a hub for cutting edge research and development. Technology start-ups, entrepreneurs, and established global giants such as Apple, Microsoft, ARM and Hewlett Packard all have bases here. Central London is 45 minutes away by train. The nearest international airport is just 30 minutes by train or car. European capitals such as Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels can also be accessed from the city centre.

Abbey College Manchester

Manchester is the regional hub of northwest England and is the UK’s largest business and education area outside London. It is modern, thriving and has the cosmopolitan feel of a capital city. There is stunning architecture at every turn that superbly blends the modern with the traditional.

The city is well known for its famous football clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City. But there are world leading venues in other sports too such as cricket, badminton, squash and cycling.

There is much more to the city than sport though – it is the cultural centre of England’s north, with museums, libraries, business and arts facilities to rival the best in the country.

DLD College London

As one of the world’s great capitals, London is an ideal place for those who wish to study finance, engineering, law and the sciences as well as the medical professions. Every large company in the world has offices here, adding to the feeling of excitement and being near to the centre of the business world.

London is also the cultural capital of the UK, with all of the most important museums, libraries and art galleries as well as being the centre of theatre, cinema, fashion, design and architecture. Multi-cultural and tolerant, it is hard to be bored here and easy to find exactly what you are looking for, whether it be an internship at a leading financial company, a foreign newspaper or simply a specific item of food.

Haniya

‘Ultimately, without the confidence, perseverance and team-working skills that I have attained by taking advantage of the wide range of opportunities that my college has offered me, I would not have been able to achieve much of what I have today, and what has prepared me for what I hope will be a prosperous career in Computer Science.’

Tia

‘Cambridge has activities for all tastes, from hanging out with friends at the park to

listening to academic talks in the university buildings.

I’ve made friends with people from around the

world and they gave me a lot of support while

I learned.‘
