Dear Friends,The fall season is here and our lineup of new programs is looking fantastic! Join us on Sunday, September 8th at 8:00 p.m. for Country Music: Live at the Ryman, A Concert Celebrating a Film by Ken Burns. PBS Charlotte is excited to present our original documentary Country in theCarolinas, a three-part harmony of the melodies the memories and the moments that are our part of country music’s past present and future. Country in the Carolinas premieres September 15th at 7:00 p.m. The highly anticipated Ken Burn’s Country Music follows our local documentary at 8:00 p.m. that night. The eight-part series will chronicle the history of a uniquely American art form, rising from the experiences of remarkable people in distinctive regions of our nation. Catch all eight parts Sunday through Thursday the week of September 15th and Sunday, September 22nd through Wednesday, September 25th at 8 p.m. We close out September on a high note. Our beloved Father Brown returns in its seventh season on Sunday, September 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Catch up with your favorite quirky family, The Durrell’s in Corfu as season four premieres on Sunday, September 28th at 8 p.m., followed by the fifth and final season of Poldark at 9:00 p.m.
