Counseling Best Practices: Career Development & Guidance in CTE NM Association of Career Technical Education Pre-Conference Wednesday, September 8, 2021 (8:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m.)

Description In the world of school counseling we are expected to be experts on

everything! It can be overwhelming and exhausting. Under the ASCA

Model, school counselors serve students in the domains of academic achievement, career,

information and experiences to assist them in their postsecondary and career planning.

Come learn why the relationship between school counselors and CTE is one that cannot be

neglected at your schools. Leave with strategies to develop and/or strengthen your

relationship with CTE to support your students and your school counseling program.
