Parent/Teacher Conferences: It is time to sign-up for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Click here to schedule parent-teacher conferences. Parents have until November 9th to sign-up online. If you have questions regarding conferences, please contact the building principal at phaugens@sd13.org or by phone 630-529-2223.

Fall Fundraiser: The Fall Fundraiser runs from September 20th - October 4th. Product pick up will be during Parent Teacher Conferences. Please refer to the attached flyer for more information about the PTO Fall Fundraiser. Please return Fall Fundraiser forms on Thursday, October 4th.

Eagle Book Award Assembly: On Friday, students will attend an assembly to find out which books will be on the Eagle Book Reading List this year.

Socktober Fundraiser: Erickson will participate in a SOCKtober event. We ask that students donate new socks the entire month of October. Refer to the flyer in the Express for more information.

World Day of Bullying Prevention: The entire Bloomingdale School District will participate in the World Day of Bullying Prevention. Please wear BLUE on this day and commit to being kind & considerate to others. Be RESPECTFUL of others by being kind and not allowing others to be bullied or teased.

Character Counts! Celebration Night: The Annual Character Counts! Night will take place on Tuesday, October 2nd at the Bloomingdale Old Town Pavilion from 5:45 pm - 8:00 pm. All students and families are invited to attend this Character Counts event. Fourth Grade students are invited to attend and sing a song. A student in fifth grade will receive the American Youth Character Award.

Book Fair: The Book Fair will be here on Wednesday and Thursday. Students can buy books and other items during the school day or Wednesday evening with parents. When sending money to school with your child, please keep in mind that all purchases will have 7% sales tax added.

Wacky Wednesday: The first Wacky Wednesday of the school year is PJ DAY. Students can wear: pajamas, slippers, feet pajamas, eye masks, robes or other appropriate PJ related clothing.

No School: Friday, October 5, 2018: There will be no school on Friday, October 5th. This is a Teacher Institute. The teachers will spend the day creating proficiency scales, developing assessments aligned to the standards, & discuss grading practices.

No School: Monday, October 8, 2018: There will be no school on Monday, October 8th for Columbus Day.

Parent Teacher ConferencesWelcome to the Erickson PTC (Parent/Teacher Conference) Wizard website.Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on November 19, 2018 and November 20, 2018.

The sign up window will open on Friday, September 7, 2018, for scheduling your Parent/Teacher Conference

The hours for the conferences will be 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Please follow the directions below in order to sign up for a conference.● The parent link: https://er13.ptcwizard.com/parent/● Create an account● Follow the prompts through the sign up process.

If you are having technical difficulty signing up for your conference, or if you do not have Internet access, please call our office for sign up assistance at 630-529-2223. Online sign up will be available from September 7 to November 9. After November 9, please contact the school office to schedule a parent teacher conference.

Grade levels will compete against each other by donating new pairs of socks. The grade level with the most pairs of socks will earn a sock

hop. All donated socks will make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors who are

homeless.

FALL FUNDRAISER: The fall fundraiser is underway! The more items sold means the more prizes for students and more funds for the school. Orders can be collected in person or online. All orders & payments are due next Thursday 10/4. Thank you in advance for your support!

If you missed ordering Spirit Wear at the beginning of the year make sure to stop by...and grab some yummy after school snacks too! It’s a one-stop shop! Don’t forget to stop by & check it out!

BOX TOPS: Keep clipping & saving Box Tops to send into school. The classroom that collects the most by 10/22 will win a treat from the PTO.
