The Great Commission: Matthew 28: 18 - 20 is a commission for all Christians to go, make Disciples, and teach them to OBEY all that I have commanded you. LSM is dedicated to evangelizing the lost and making disciples of Christ that make Disciples of Christ according to II Timothy 2:2.

Sunday evening August 20, 2016 in my hotel room in Nnewi, NigeriaThe adventure began on Friday morning when Jeremy met me at Citymark church in

League City, TX to transport me to the Houston Bush International airport. I was scheduled on a flight to Newark, NJ with connecting flights on Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Germany then on to Lagos, Nigeria. Upon completion of our mission to Nigeria, I will be traveling on to Ethiopia to visit Nick and Jessica Lowe. I am travelling with my large suitcase, carry-on, computer, and video camera, and four boxes weighing 50 lbs each. One of the boxes is for Rev. Tony Okeke in Nigeria and the other three to take to Ethiopia. They are filled with Bible commentary and Old Testament surveys, and other goodies for our Citymark team in Ethiopia.

I arrived in Newark and my connecting flight departed in two hours. Irene escorted me and carried my carry-on and computer for a long walk across the airport for the outbound flight. I believe it was more than a mile walk plus a train ride.

I arrived in Lagos at about 5:00 pm, I cleared customs with no problem, and Dominic a police officer that Tony Okeke hires to escort me through the airport was there to meet me. We gathered up the luggage and walked to a little police station at the airport and then went back to meet Jon Friesen.

Jon and I returned to the police station and had to wait until 7:30 pm to get a ride to the hotel. We spent the night in Lagos. Well almost the night we departed at 4:00 am for Nnewi by car. This is about an 8 hour long, long ride over mostly horrible roads. We did have a flat tire but

Jon had a flashlight and the driver changed it in about 15 minutes.

Finally, at about 10:15 am we arrived at Save the Lost Mission. The music was loud and strong. We went in and I had a chance to walk around and hug these dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Tears are streaming down my face. Good tears these are my family members who prayed Carol and me out of the hospital along with many

other prayer warriors around the world.

I introduced Jon and he shared a little intro about himself and his desire to teach the 10 commandments in a way that will hide them in their hearts. We got to our hotel about noon and enjoyed a day to rest. I am looking forward to all that God has prepared for Jon and me. Good night.

Monday 22 August 2016 7 pmJon and I had a great day today. We went to the Bible

School. We will teach through Wednesday each morning and

then the Student Conference will start. I am really looking forward to this conference and sharing with these Bible students. I will share the crocheted crosses with them provided by Patsy Dainwood and her Bible study group from First Baptist church in Dickinson, TX who crocheted the crosses.

Tuesday Night 10:30 pmWe had a good day with the

students this morning. Jon taught on the five love languages and I taught a lesson on Evangelism 101. Then I shared John Dainwood’s story (Patsy Dainwood's son). I shared how his mother and other women in her prayer group prayed for 36 years while he was serving a life in prison sentence for murder. John D. was saved while in prison and has been paroled. I licensed him to preach about a month ago. His mother Patsy Dainwood shared with me the crosses that she and others crocheted. She gave me a box with 500 crosses to bring to Africa with me. Along with the crosses was the commitment to pray for those who receive the crosses. Well, it was an exciting time giving them each a cross with Patsy’s email. This afternoon at 5:00 pm, Jon and I visited a church across the street from our hotel. It was my first time to be there. Jon met Pastor Jude out in front of the hotel. Pastor Jude invited us to share with his church. We did and the Holy Spirit showed up and we had a wonderful time sharing with them their future from the word of God. Eternity passed, Life, Death, Heaven, Hell, Bema seat, Great white throne, and Eternity future. The altar was crowded as the entire congregation came forward for prayer. I prayed that God the Father would place His love in their hearts. May they have the love He had when He sent His son to die for them? I asked Jesus to place His mind in their minds.

Jon told me that I had included all of the five love languages during my presentation. Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. Of course, this is the power of the Holy Spirit speaking through me to reach out and touch all of the folks listening to His message.

Many, many hugs and tears. I feel like George Patton in the movie Patton when he overlooked the battlefield and said “God help me I love it.” That is how I constantly feel on mission trips “God help me I love it.”

Wednesday 4 pmGod allowed me to lead the

five housekeeping ladies to the Lord Jesus Christ this morning. Wow, wow, wow. They are all so excited. They will prepare me a list with their names so that I can prepare a Spiritual Birth Certificate for them. I will ask Tony if we can baptize them while we are here.

Jon and I completed our time with the Bible School students. Jon coached them on sharing the gospel then God put the icing on the cake. At breakfast Jon told me, he felt the Holy Spirit telling him we need to wash the feet of the students. I immediately responded. Let’s do it. Therefore, we did after the class Jon and I washed the feet and sprayed some perfume on their feet of all the students and of course the teacher and then Pastors Philip and John who are escorting Jon and me each day.

John 13:5-20 New American Standard Bible (NASB) quotes Jesus, "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you. ".

God allowed me to start the day leading the five ladies to the Lord here at the hotel and end our time at the Bible School with a foot washing. Folks it does not get any better that that on this side of heaven.

Wednesday 10 pmTonight Jon came to my room and asked to go to the restaurant and meet a man and

lady he was talking to. Edidiong and Good Lucky work at a local radio station. Jon met them earlier today at the festival he attended. Jon and I will be on their talk show radio program Friday morning. PTL God allowed me to share the gospel with them and they prayed to receive Christ. Seven souls today Lord, thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Friday 11 amYesterday morning Jon and I went to the iPhone/internet store. I was able to print out

Spiritual Birth Certificates. We passed them out to the ladies at Kings Palace hotel. Michael & Daniel from Oklahoma showed up but there was not room for them at this hotel. . They are long time friends of Tony Okeke and both are international missionaries. Therefore, they were taken to another hotel. I had told Pastors Philip and John that I had mice and or rats running around in my room. They came up to my room and said Pastor Bob you are moving. They packed Jon and me up and we moved to another hotel. I do not know the name yet but it is much, much nicer than the old Kings Palace.

At 7:00 pm last night we kicked off the youth rally. Wow, wow, wow, what energy was in the room. Tony, myself, Jon, Michael and Daniel all shared briefly. I am excited to see what God is going to do with all these youth.

Saturday 7 amYesterday was awesome serving the Lord. We went to a school in the morning.

Daniel, Mike, and I all shared and when Daniel gave the invitation, more than 30 students prayed for salvation. Last night at the seminar another 70 to 100 souls entered the kingdom of God. Yesterday, I shared from Daniel 3.

Sunday 10 am Last night heaven came down

and glory filled my soul. What an awesome night serving the Lord Jesus Christ here with many awesome men of God. Save the Lost Mission has prepared an awe-inspiring seminar for these students. God assembles the team to accomplish His will.

Jon shared a message;

Yesterday was another day of praise, prayer, and testimonies at Save the Lost Mission. This day was set aside to honor Rt. Rev. Tony Okeke the founder of this wonderful work of God. The meeting started at 9:00 am and went to 6:00 pm. I had to rest at about 3:00 pm and went back to the hotel. It has been another wonderful week serving Jesus Christ “King of kings” here in Nnewi.
