We are in the process of finalizing a contract and expect work to begin soon. The fountains are also being repaired due to some shortages that occurred. Thanks again for your patience! Fall is a great time to enjoy the park and pavilion! Please help us keep the park clean for everyone to enjoy! The guest policy is clearly stated on signs posted at the court area parking lot. Please make sure your children are aware of these policies. Our goal is for everyone to have a pleasant and safe time in our common areas! Reminder - we want to make everyone aware of our neighborhood Covenants concerning the placement of signs in yards. Please help us by abiding by the following: The Covenants read, in Article 7: "No sign of any kind shall be displayed to the public view on any tract except one professional sign of not more than five (5) square feet advertising the property for sale, or signs used by a builder to advertise the property during the construction and sales period.” If you have any questions please email [email protected]! Book Club Tammy Baxter - 706-694-0918 The book club is open to all Highland Forest residents. We officially meet the first Monday of the month at 7 pm. - Please note - July through October some meetings have been moved to the second Mondays due to the way the calendar falls.

Special Announcement: I’ve enjoyed working with the newsletter and all the lovely neighbors I’ve been able to meet throughout the years. But the time has come for me to move on to other projects. The January newsletter will be my last newsletter as Editor. The board will be looking for a volunteer to step up and take over the newsletter website and Facebook page. Pilates anyone? Rhonda Malone is trying to get a Pilates class set up in the Varnell area. It will be held Friday afternoons or early Friday evenings. We are not sure of the exact cost yet, but expect it to range from $5-8 per person. The instructor would like a commitment of 6-8 weeks. We are trying to see what kind of interest HF neighbors might have.  If you are interested, please contact Rhonda Malone at 706-581-855. Thank you!
