September 2013 Greetings from the President! Welcome to the 20132014 skating season. I am very excited to be your new President. We have a very busy year stacking up for our club. Skate St. Moritz is our first clubsponsored event followed by the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships, the competition that qualifies skaters to Nationals. As always these events require a lot of manpower and I encourage each and every member to give back to our club and the sport you love by donating a few (or many) hours of your time. As you are aware, we are an allvolunteer club. What this means is that everything we do is coordinated by our membership. Whether you can give a few hours or many days, the club could not function without your help. If you get a call or an email requesting your time, please don't just say "no" and instead give some serious thought as to how you may be able to help out. A shared workload by many volunteers makes it easier for everyone. Without the help of our volunteers there would be no Clubsponsored events, which range from tests and competitions to critiques for our competitors and seminars for skaters and parents. I wish you the best of luck in the coming season and HAPPY SKATING!!! September 2013

Greetings from the President!

Welcome  to  the  2013-‐2014  skating  season.  I  am  very  excited  to  be  your  new  President.  We  have  a  very  busy  year  stacking  up  for  our  club.    Skate  St.  Moritz  is  our  first  club-‐sponsored  event  followed  by  the  Pacific  Coast  Sectional  Championships,  the  competition  that  qualifies  skaters  to  Nationals.  As  always  these  events  require  a  lot  of  manpower  and  I  encourage  each  and  every  member  to  give  back  to  our  club  and  the  sport  you  love  by  donating  a  few  (or  many)  hours  of  your  time.  As  you  are  aware,  we  are  an  all-‐volunteer  club. Without  the  help  of  our  volunteers  there  would  be  no  Club-‐sponsored  events,  which  range  from  tests  and  competitions  to  critiques  for  our  competitors  and  seminars  for  skaters  and  parents.    I  wish  you  the  best  of  luck  in  the  coming  season  and    HAPPY  SKATING!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Susan  Rogers  Bonn            Look  for  this  button  to  learn  more  about  volunteer  opportunities  at  St.  Moritz:
