    HELLO OptimistsThis is the last month of my term as president. In some respects it

    seems only yesterday, that I started down this adventurous road to. I wrote in October 09, about this

    Clubs, Hearts for GOD and the deep KID caring attitude, truly living theOptimist Creed, striving toward . GODBLESS YOU To date - You have met or exceeded all of our GOALS. Withthe economy & oil spill working against us, the road appears to be gettingsteeper. I ask you to give just a little more effort to keep our serviceprograms going.

    Only a week to go until Mullet Festival How many jobs are you signed-up for? How many Raffle tickets have you sold? How many friends,neighbors & associates have you invited to our annual fundraiser? To coinan old phase, PUT SOME PIZZAZZ IN IT! Smile and Do the Right Thing.

Yes, it is somewhat of a formalaffair (however coats, ties & long pants areoptional). This program is open to allmembers, spouses and invited guests -NOT just the Club Officers and Directors.

    Our new Lt. Governor Ben Spencer will bethere to conduct the Swearing In. Enjoygood food and great fellowship.
