Virtually every pastor, Christian leader and others that I speak with tell me of their longing for a spiritual awakening to sweep across our country. Oh, that it would take place in our day. The following are some reasons why. Please read them carefully and prayerfully: 1. The times are very serious. Many factors indicate that the church should be preparing for the return of the Lord. Revelation 19:6-9 says that the Bride will prepare herself for her union with Christ. 2. He is calling extraordinary numbers of people to pray for spiritual awakening and we are seeing more prayer than at any other time in decades (Isaiah 62:6-7; Zechariah 8:20-23). 3. He has begun awakening a growing number of His people who are making radical adjustments in their lives to God (Acts 2:16-21). 4. Because of our impurities, God is bringing judgment on America and on His church in America by removing His hedge of protection and giving us over to the consequences of our sins (Isaiah 5). 5. Unless we repent, the gravity of His judgment will intensify with each passing day as He begins to pour out His wrath in turning us over to disasters (Ezekiel 7:1-14). 6. God’s people have disregarded His Lordship for their own selfish desires and self-serving prac- tices (Matthew7:21-27; Luke 6:46). 7. God’s people have not honored His holiness and are not becoming holy as He is Holy (I Peter 1:16-17). 8. God’s standards and commandments in His word are not being used to determine right and wrong (Isaiah 5:20). 9. God’s people are disoriented to Him and apathetic to His voice and activities (Luke 19:41-46). 10. God’s Bride has prostituted herself with worldly values, priorities, and methods and is not pre- paring herself for the wedding feast at Christ’s second coming (Ephesians 5:25-26). 11. God’s warnings have been ignored again and again (Romans 10:21; Ezekiel 12:21-28). In His Service, Terrell Suggs From the Desk of the DOM

September 2006 Financial Report

Attention: This report reflects only what was received by the BBA during the reported month. Churches contribute however they choose, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.

Increasingly the heart-cry of our people is for a genuine heaven-sent revival. Virtually every pastor, Christian leader and others that I speak with tell me of their longing for a spiritual awakening to sweep across our country. Oh, that it would take place in our day. The following are some reasons why. Please read them carefully and prayerfully:

6. God’s people have disregarded His Lordship for their own selfish desires and self-serving prac-tices (Matthew7:21-27; Luke 6:46).

10. God’s Bride has prostituted herself with worldly values, priorities, and methods and is not pre-

paring herself for the wedding feast at Christ’s second coming (Ephesians 5:25-26). 11. God’s warnings have been ignored again and again (Romans 10:21; Ezekiel 12:21-28). In His Service, Terrell Suggs

“SEEING WITH NEW EYES: GOD’S MERCY” Baptist Women’s Day of Prayer

Ladies, if ever there was a time in history when we, as women need to get down on our knees and pray it is now. We will have opportu-nity to gather November 6th at Fairview Baptist Church in Durant to

seek God’s face. We will be specifically praying for the Latin American continent. They face similar problems as ours here in the

U.S.A.. Let’s unite as sisters in Christ and pray in one accord for their needs. This will be a come-and-go meeting for your conven-

ience between 10:00am and 2:00pm. We will have a Soup and Salad lunch provided. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The BGCO Annual Meeting is Nov. 13-14. The Women’s Missions
& Ministries Celebration is Monday beginning at 1:30 at Quail Springs Baptist Church. Speakers include Wanda Lee, Dr. Rebekah
Naylor and Kris and Shelly Riggs (career missionaries serving in Niger, West Africa). This year we will be celebrating 100 years of Women’s Work in Oklahoma. Pray for State Leadership as they
prayerfully seek God’s direction for Women’s work in Oklahoma.
Again, we thank you for allowing us to serve as your Associational M&M Consultants
Ethel Gray & Betty Stout
In case you have not been to Sunset Cove, it is located two miles north of Cartwright and the Denison Dam just off Wil-lafa Woods Road. Since May of 2002, we have been slowly developing the property to become another Christian influ-ence on Lake Texoma. Our hopes are that the buildings and facilities we construct will be used for conferences, Bible studies, musical concerts, reunions, and other recreation. Future plans are dormitories, a lodge, soccer and softball fields, prayer trails, swimming, boating and fishing from a floating fishing dock. The Bryan Baptist Association will use these facilities as outreach tools to churches, youth groups, and the general public. On these acres we presently provide RV spots with full hookups as well as primitive tent spaces. Local churches have used Sunset Cove for various outings. We sponsor an annual event in May called Freedom Day to celebrate what God has given us and say thank you to all of you for your support throughout the year. Thank you
