Rock Hill, SC is welcoming the 2019 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup by adding a family-friendly festival event and other cycling races to the event weekend Sept. 13-14, 2019. This is in addition to the USA Cycling Collegiate Track Nationals taking place just a mile and a half away at the Giordana Velodrome Sept. 12-14. The Gripped Festival Sept. 13-14 will offer carnival rides and inflatables, live music, food trucks, beverages, and a climbing wall. Cycling fun at the festival includes a BMX stunt show, bike rodeo, balance bike activities and a vendor fair. Gripped Festival will be held on the Criterium Course next to the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track, site of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. Gripped Festival Admission One daily admission fee provides a visitor with access to the World Cup and to Gripped Festival. Tickets can be purchased on site. Friday admission is $5 per person (children under 5 are free). Saturday admission is $10 adult, $5 child/senior (children under 5 are free). All race participants will recieve an entry with their race registration. More at www.grippedfestival.com.
