The congregation of Anderson Grove Baptist Church welcomes its new pastor, Bev. Ronald (Ron) T. Honeyc!Yt. his wife, lhe formerChristie Sasser of Albe-marle, and their two children, Zachary Thomas and Ashley Nicole.

Before coming to Albemarle, Rev. Honeycutt served as pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Mocksville, N.C., for seven years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philoso-phy from Atlantic Christian Col-lege in 1982 and his Master of Divinity with Religious Educa-tion at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 1986.

Rev. Honeycutt has served in many Associational and Denom-inational Services as well as Civic and Community Services to include Chairperson of South Yadkin Association Evangelism Committee, President of Davie County Ministers AHociation, Devotional Leader at Davie Vil-1 age Rest Home and Board

Member of CAN-STOP, a pre-vent teen pregnancy program.

Rev. Honeycutt also enjoys meeting and talking with peo-ple, visiting nursing home patients and ministering to peo-ple in the hospital.

Revival services scheduled for Wadeville Baptist Church

Wadeville Baptist Church will hold revival services Mon-day - Wednesday, Aug. 18 -20. Services will begin each night at 7:30 p.m.

Special guest speaker wi11 be the Rev. Ron Honeycutt, ~ pastor of Anderson Grove Baptist Church in Albemar-le. He was ordained to the ministry in 1986 and is a grad-uate of Southeastern Baptist Seminary.

He is married to the former Christie Sasser of Albemar-le. They have two children, Zachary, 8, and Ashley, 5.
