In the recent two decades, the Chinese urbanization underwent

transformation. The large-scale urban renewal in Beijing started at the beginning of the 1990s. The information used in this paper derives from three sections in that questionnaire.

Mostly, the space where the buildings in UC main campus and the resident buildings between Harvey ave. and Reading road were the most isolated area from the rest. The students are major users in UC campus, so both campus buildings and residences are relatively private places. Considering the commuting frequency of both pedestrians and vehicles, the main roads are considered as the most connect-ed area, because where the vehicles mainly take a bigger part of the connection.
