BreastScreen WA T17 BreastScreen WA (BSWA) is part of the national screening program for breast cancer. BSWA started in 1989 and aims to reduce illness and death from breast cancer through the early detection of the disease by using screening mammograms. BSWA offers FREE screening mammograms for women who are aged over 40 and have a current Medicare card (no referral needed). Women attending the expo can book a mammogram at the BSWA stand.
