Senior Technical Consultant

Formtek, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Technical Consultant. The Senior Technical Consultant should be able to work with prospects and customers to understand their needs, conceptualize an integrated document capture and content management solution, and design a functional solution utilizing software from Alfresco, Arondor, Ephesoft, and Formtek. Once engaged by a customer, the Senior Technical Consultant is responsible for delivering the integrated solution, which may include customizations and integrations developed by Formtek’s development team, and/or configuration modifications requested by the customer. This individual will typically work in cooperation with customers and the Formtek support staff to complete document capture and content management engagements and support customer activities. Engagements may require on-site visits to customer locations or resolving customer questions/activities via VPN, teleconference or web conference. When not engaged with customers, the Senior Technical Consultant will be called upon to assist Formtek product development, product demonstrations, and business development activities. Travel requirements are projected to be up to 25%. Successful candidates must have:

Familiarity with document capture solutions (Ephesoft is Formtek’s preferred application) and/or

Familiarity with content management solutions (Alfresco is Formtek’s preferred application)

Successful candidates should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Minimum of 5 years of IT experience

Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems

Experience using relational database management systems

Comfort working in a distributed environment

Comfort working with prospects and/or customers on paid engagements or business development activities

Ability to communicate clearly

Project Management skills
