The Service Engineering Department of Service Platform currently has an opening for a Senior QualAssurance Engineer. The role of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will support our futurestrategy within Service. This position assures the customer experience is seamless, particularly whservice and support issues arise. Will also be responsible for developing, evaluating, revising, andapplying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials

production equipment, and finished products. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer also supportsactivities related to new networked product introduction. This position will perform analysis andidentifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk rawmaterials. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer recommends corrective actions when necessaryand ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process controlprocedures are followed. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer supports the long term systems andprocess that support the post sales activities which keep the customer loyal to the Sony Brand andencourages continued use and purchasing of content and other Sony products. This Senior QualityAssurance Engineer will work with the Director of Service Integration to ensure activities that involvworking closely with Design and Development teams, Post Sales, and Sustaining Engineering teamsare effective and successful.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required or equivalent

• Must have 4 to 6 years of related engineering experience

• Expertise in consumer electronics is strongly required

• Experience with content streaming/testing is a requirement  

• Must have hands-on experience in Functional testing for networks 

• Good experience in Product Testing and Bug Reporting is required  

• Must have experience with service and support planning preparations, knowledge and softwacontent development . 

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Experience in the theoretical and practical use of Quality Assurance statistical tools andmethods preferred
