Job description: Senior Digital Project Manager, London

The experience we’re looking for… 5+ years hands-on digital experience at a senior level, preferably in a corporate communications environment managing website projects, ongoing maintenance, online tools, apps, digital advertising, email campaigns, video and animation. The Senior Digital Project Manager will report to: Group Account Director About the position of the Senior Digital Project Manager Overall, the position holder will be required to: • Provide end-to-end ‘hands-on’ project management of both small and large-scale projects throughout their life

cycle; From initial scoping phase, through planning, estimating and budgeting, scheduling, design and development and full implementation

• Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of Living’s digital accounts; Ensuring our clients are receiving the highest individual attention and ensuring that we deliver, as a team, quality projects on time, on budget and brief

• Scope digital projects with clients; Understanding their individual requirements and creating accurate documentation, including creative design briefs, functional specifications and site maps

• Deliver operational excellence; With the ability to anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks, and manage to change business and technical requirements by effectively suggesting solutions or contingency plans at the appropriate stage of projects

• Be authoritative and efficient; Ability to direct and lead others confidently and have tough conversations with our team and our clients, where appropriate

• Be analytical with great attention to detail; Ensuring consistent improvement in the quality of our output • Oversee the development of each digital account and increasing the volume of work when appropriate. Spotting and

developing opportunities with our clients, turning projects into accounts • Provide account management support on all digital new business activity.

Be commercially-savvy • Strong numeracy skills; For estimating, scheduling, production and invoicing purposes • Excellent understanding of commercial processes; delivering profitable projects every time • Budget awareness: Maintain up-to-date understanding of spend on projects so to provide accurate feedback to Living’s

senior management team • Expert at own time management and setting own and others work goals; Capturing time on projects, ensuring the correct

time is being inputted by the team • Managing resource planning and raising issues (I.e. under/over resourcing, project slip, scope creep, etc). Technically astute • Producing appropriate documentation in support of digital projects including project and resourcing plans, risk and issue logs,

functional and technical specifications, and regular project / client and budget reports • Be confident working alongside the technical team to specify and document new functional and technical solutions • Have an excellent understanding of web projects and implementation methodologies • Have a very good understanding and knowledge of web standards; Usability, compatibility issues, accessibility constraints and

opportunities within the industry and the ability to draw on expertise to continually improve in this area • Be familiar with multiple technology platforms, i.e. mobile apps, web, email and streaming media • Be able to demonstrate an informed opinion about the digital marketplace • Inputting to and organising testing to guarantee quality of delivery to client • Forward thinking, with an ability to innovate and leverage technology as it evolves. Be a strong team player • Have exceptional communication skills – both internally and client facing • Motivate and encourage the digital team to deliver ‘right-first-time’, online solutions for our clients • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are passionate in growing the agency • Mentor junior members of the digital account team.

Project Management Skills / Experience • Should hold at least one professional accreditation from either:

• Scrum Alliance as a Product Owner or Scrum Master • PMI (Project Management Institute) • APM (Associate for Project Management) • Prince2 (foundation or practitioner)

• Managed projects £500k and above • Experience in risk management & mitigation strategies • Experience working with contributing toward a PMO • Take project governance seriously and always looking to find better ways of working • Delivered creative projects using a CMS solution like Umbraco or Sitecore. Computer skills required: • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project, on Mac and PC • Working knowledge of digital design and production software • Knowledge of standard UE software• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (not essential).
