The ISMS is a Web-Based Application using ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008. The ISMS stores, updates, and adds to Inventory records in a SQL database using SQL as the backend.

The Intended Use of this Web Application is to store, update, and add inventory levels efficiently and more accurately by using a UPC Barcode Scanner.

The Administrator has full control of the Web App. Login Screen, Inventory Screens, and every other Web Forms within this Web App. The Owner has the same authority.

The Employee would only have control of viewing the Inventory. Everything else is NO ACCESS !!!

This web application was tested throughout the whole project as changes were made.

The web application was tested to connect to the SQL database seamlessly.

The database was tested to make sure that it is secure.

We are avid video gamers so we tested the web application and database with multiple video games and system.

A usability test was conducted by the help of members from GameStop and Best Buy.

Feedback was collected and incorporated.

Develop a simple web application to house the access portal to the inventory database.

Use ASP.NET with database connectivity to Microsoft SQL Server as primary database.

Secure the application: Login username and password.

Add inventory to the database manually or using a barcode scanner.

The ISMS provides a cost-efficient, entry-level inventory management system.

By using the ISMS, the user has total control over how their inventory is managed while drastically reducing user error.

Brandon and I plan to add more functionality and usability to this Web Application.

We plan to start using this Web Application for our personal needs as well as our business needs.

I have started to implement this Web Application at a Car Lot Jordan Auto Sales and Service Using VIN numbers instead of UPCs.
