D. 6. Penalty for Violation by Graduating StudentsGraduating students who violate Board policies on possession, consumption, or distribution of alcoholic beverages, controlled dangerous substances, counterfeit controlled dangerous substances, non-controlled substances as defined by Article 27, Section 286B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, or other intoxicant at any time during the last four weeks of school prior to the last scheduled day for graduating students, or during the time between the last scheduled day and the graduation ceremony, whether the activity takes place on school buses, within a school building or upon any school property, or during any school, school related, or Board sponsored activity, whether held on school property or at locations off school property, including private clubs, businesses, or commercial establishments, shall be prohibited from participation in all senior activities, including proms, award ceremonies and graduation ceremonies.

Attendance
Excessive absences of 6 or more may result in credit not being granted for the course
Final Grade Calculation
• Grades are a calculation of your percentage grade from the 3rd Marking Period, 4th Marking Period and the Exam.
3rd MP = 40% of final grade4th MP = 40% of final gradeExam = 20% of final grade
Example
3rd Marking period = 60% (D)4th Marking period = 60% (D)Exam = 50% (E)
Final Grade = 58%
Behavior
• May 1st, 2015, is the last day a graduating senior can be enrolled in the:
– Alternatives to Drug Program.
– Responsible Actions Program.
– Anti-Tobacco Use Program.

May 9 ----------- Prom Breakfast 12:00 – 2: 00 a.m. (BWI Marriot)
May 22 – 28------ Senior Finals
May 26 – 27 ----- Cap & Gown Distribution 1pm-3pm in STEM office
May 27 ----------- Senior Awards Night
May 28th ---------- Last day for Seniors
May 29------------- Graduation rehearsal. 9:00 a.m. (report to old gym)
This is MANDATORY! Ticket Distribution to follow
June 1 ------------- Graduation 3:30 p.m. Equestrian Center
Graduates MUST arrive by 2:00 p.m.

Attendance on Friday, May 8th (Prom Day)
In order to be admitted into the prom, you must attend all of your scheduled classes for
this day.
An attendance report will be ran for the day.
If you have an AP exam, you only need to attend the exam.
Requirements to Purchase Prom Tickets
1. Class dues paid in full ($20 dollars, $30 after spring break)
2. No outstanding school obligations3. Photo ID4. Signed Behavioral Contracts for NCHS students
1. Senior Form for all NCHS seniors2. Underclassman form for a NCHS student attending as a
guest of a NCHS senior
5. Completed Outside Guest Permission Form for a person requesting to attend as a guest of a NCHS
***Due by Tuesday, April 26th***1. A copy of photo ID for outside guest requests is required
Dress is formal attire. Dress in a way that is appropriate for the Senior Prom.
Sandals, Flip Flops, Tennis Shoes will not be permitted.
Gentleman - A full tuxedo or suit with tie and dress shoes is required. No hats, baseball caps, or tennis shoes.
Ladies - An appropriate, formal gown with shoes is required.
See your Administrator if you have a question regarding your attire.

Tuxes/DressesStudents can get $40.00 off their tux rental at any Men's Wearhouse...in the country .
Prom Rep Program: Students can go and be ‘student leaders’ for North County. Student leaders can receive FREE tux rentals if they get 5 others in their group to rent a tux. Plan ahead now!!
After spring break. It depends on YOU!
The more dues we collect before spring break will determine the price.
