GLOBAL VALUE CHAINSCHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PACIFIC ALLIANCE AND ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHEAST ASIAN NATIONS

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Pacific Alliance Framework for Coopera-tion considers four priority areas: economic cooperation; education and people to people contacts; science, technology and innovation; and sustainable development.In regards to economic cooperation, the framework seeks to stimulate the exchange of good practices and the promotion and facilitation of trade, including global value chains.

The invitation to the Seminar considers representatives of the Pacific Alliance and ASEAN, Govern-ment Agencies, International Organizations, research centers, the private sector and Embassies of the member countries of both economic organisms present in Chile.
