Colour  Psychology

Sharon  Price  the  second  speaker  talk  about  her  topic  in  her  dissertation  when  she

was  at  the  university  her  previous  job  environment  and  finally  the  importance  of

knowing  colour  psychology  .

Although  was  her  first  presentation  in  a  room  with  many  students  from  different

levels  her  talk  was  very  well  organized  and  clear.  I  found  her  talk  very  inspiring  to

hear  because  besides  she  had  a  good  job  she  quit,  she  was  working  for  someone

and  she  had  other  aspirations  in  life  and  decided  to  put  and  end  to  that  job  and

started  it  again  from  scratch  deciding  o  go  to  university  and  to  get  a  degree,  in  my

sincere  opinion  it  is  admirable  to  have  people  like  Sharon  close  to  me  .

The  topic  for  her  dissertation  was  cruise  lines  involving  colour  psychology  and

from  that  she  made  diverse  questioner  and  decided  to  explain  it    on  a  diagram    the

idea  of  presenting  and  expressing    her  final  results  on  chart  graph  I  thought  it  was

very  clean  and  easy  to  understand  .

With  the  questioner  the  speaker  want  it  to  get  some  answer  such  us:  How

manipulate  colour  feelings  in  cruise,  how  to  sell  more,  spending  more,  mode

effects,  people  emotions.

Sharon  explained  colour  psychology  and  meanings  in  her  talk  in  depth  one  by  one

which  I  found  very  useful  and  coherence  to  our  course.  .  For  example  the  speaker

mention  that  the  colour  lilac  was  used  in  may  prisons  as  it  creates  a  relaxing

atmosphere,    I  knew  this  but  what  I  did  not  know  was  that  colour  scheme  is  use  in

many  prisons  interiors.  The  Colour  green  for  example  is  not  use  on  interiors  for

cruisers  because  it  is  associated  with  sickness.

Her  results  for  the  questions  that  she  had  still  unresolved  .

Overall  I  found  her  talk  very  useful  and  applicable  to  our  course  and  learning  skills.
