A former New Zealand Cricketer who played 4 Tests and 33 One Day Internationals, including opening for New Zealand at the 1992 Cricket World Cup. A Canterbury Cricket representa-tive from 1980-1995, during which time Rod clocked up 101 first class games. Rod’s sporting achievements also extended to Rugby, selected as a Junior All Black in 1980 Rod represented Canterbury Rugby for 6 years throughout a tough Ranfurly Shield era. These days Rod is Manger of the Harewood Golf Club, however the family passion for Cricket remains strong with son Thomas a current Black Cap.
