For automatic temperature control of hot water supply

Step-less adjustment for smooth, continuous temperature control.

Prevents scalding risk from water stored above 65ºC to kill Legionella

Fail-safe: hot water outlet closes if cold water supply fails

Increases effective volume of stored hot water

Suitable for use with Hep2O push-fit pipework

CW268… ø15mm short pipe runs

CW268 15mm

CW272B 22mm

CW272B…ø22 main delivery pipes, ø15mm branches to individual outlets

CW268 & CW272B Installation instructions:

Fit the valve as shown on front sheet.

1. The valve may be installed in any orientation

2. Check that your pressurised water system has a strainer in the cold water supply line. Flush the system before fitting the valve.

3. Minimum 10oC temperature difference between hot and cold water supply

4. Do not use jointing compounds on the connections

Commissioning the valve

1. Start the pressure system and heat the water.

2. Open a hot water tap and check the temperature of the water. If the temperature needs to be adjusted:

on CW268 (15mm) simply turn the adjustment knob

on CW272B (22mm) -

1. remove the central screw and the plastic knob

2. loosen the large lock-nut

3. using a 6mm A/F spanner, turn the square nut clockwise to decrease temperature, anti clockwise to increase temperature
