(...) furthermore her images are settings, where an action is not yet happening. A house corner, a floor, an angle of primary colours, immobilized in waiting. Inspired by comics, films and the dreamy drawings of the Surrealists together with an attitude of Dada, is she insisting on her freedom not to be stuck in a certain field, to define an instable zone between abstraction and figuration. an ethereal terrain, without gravity, before the accident.(Text: Cyrila Aboucaya, translation from french: Julia Grillmayr)

(...) Ihre Bilder sind außerdem unbestimmte Terrains, wo die Handlung noch nicht stattfand. Eine Hausecke, ein Boden, ein Winkel des Couloirs in Primärfarben, immobilisiert im Warten. Inspiriert durch Comic, Filme und die verträumten Zeichnungen des Surrealismus sowie der Haltung des Dada, lässt sie sich die grundlegende Freiheit, nicht eingeklemmt zu werden, um sich eine instabile Zone zwischen Abstraktion und Figuration abzustecken.
