AtDIA, I provided legal advice regarding HUMINTOperadons, MASINT research and development (R&D), and intemadonal agreements; and ranght- oinssegfor Rqrarts OMcers and Defense Attaches. AttheODNLI helped stand iq) a new agency and providedlegal support for virtually every aspect ofthe DNI's mission, toinclude addressing many issues offirstimpression regarding the applicadon of theIntelligence Reform andTerrorismPrevendon Act of2004(IRTPA) and assisting with drafting muldple Intelligence Community Direcdves and rdated policies. In2008,1 was a member of the small teamdiat draftedand coordinatedthe amendmentsto Execudve Order12333.
