Ifyouareworkinginanoffice,ourUnionisfightingtowinyouhazardpay.However,somepeoplemayneedtouseleavebecausetheycannotbeexposedtherisksassociatedwithanofficeenvironment.Usethechoicesbelowtolearnmoreaboutwhatleaveisavailabletopeopleindifferentsituations.

WhathappensifIrunoutofleave?
• BENEFITSYouwillcontinuetohaveyourhealthinsuranceaslongasyouremainemployedwiththestate.PEBBhasenactedatemporaryruleforthenext6months.Forthisperiodoftime,youdonothavetowork80hourswithinthecurrentmonthtohaveyourhealthcoverageextendedthroughtheendofthefollowingmonth.Youwillcontinuetoberesponsibleforyouremployeeshareofthepremium,evenwhenonleavewithoutpay.Additionally,ifyouhaveoptionalcoverage-suchasaugmentedlifeinsurance,shortorlongtermdisability-youwillberesponsibleforpayingthosepremiums.
