Synastry Charts • Synastry charts symbolize the dynamics that

existed, and still exist, between two people as distinct individuals.

• Composite charts symbolize the dynamics that existed, and still exist, between two people as a coupled unit.

• Group composite charts symbolize the dynamics that existed, and still exist, between any group of people as a unit.

Synastry Chart Aspects

• Cycle of Phases and Aspects principles are applied between any two charts as well.

• Inner chart is stationary, beginning point.

• All outer chart planets are compared to inner chart planets.

– Counter-clockwise for planets.

– Clockwise for nodal axis and points in space, ie ascendant and descendent.

Synastry Charts & Nodal Axis • Each lifetime, a soul creates the conscious

personality or ego (Moon, nodal axis) to facilitate its evolutionary intentions.

– One’s ego and sense of identity evolves, just as the soul (Pluto) does.

• South Node: ego created in the past to actualize soul’s past desires and intentions (natal Pluto).

– Includes planetary rulers of SN by sign, house, aspect.

• North Node: the evolving ego and sense of identity working with soul’s intentions (PPP) in this life.

• Includes planetary rulers of NN by sign, house, aspect.

Synastry Charts & Nodal Axis • SN and NN by sign, house and planetary rulers by

sign, house, in each other’s charts correlates with specific past life dynamics.

• South Node:

– Overall totality of what we shared with another individual in past lives.

– How past life dynamics subconsciously influence our overall response or reaction to one another.

• North Node:

– How we have potential to move forward beyond the past life dynamics.

Nodal Axis Aspects • Pluto and its polarity point will be causal factors

in evolving the individual and its relationship with another when planetary aspects are made to the nodal axis.

• When the nodal axis of both individual’s charts are in aspect to each other, all the EA conditions apply.

• When planetary rulers of nodal axis aspect each other’s charts, all the EA conditions apply.

Planets Conjunct Nodal Axis • Planets conjunct South Node:

– Specific karmic condition already exists between two people that is being brought forward in this life to be resolved.

• Specific nature of karmic condition determined:

– By sign, house of SN chart, and it planetary rulers by sign, house, that is conjunct by another person’s planets.

– By planet(s) conjunct the SN chart.

– By other aspects planet(s) conjunct SN chart is making.

Planets Conjunct Nodal Axis • Planets conjunct North Node, two possibilities:

– Person’s planet(s) conjunct NN chart has already been helping NN chart develop and achieve dynamics represented by planet(s) and NN prior to this life.

– Person’s planet(s) conjunct NN chart can be a key person in this life in helping NN chart develop those dynamics represented by planet(s) and NN.

Planets Square Nodal Axis • Karmic condition exists:

– Two people have had prior life connections where something occurred that caused a separation to occur between them.

– Relationship has been interrupted – something did not come to completion.

• Actual nature of what occurred to cause separation determined by signs, houses of person A’s nodal axis and sign(s), house(s) of person B’s planet(s) squared.

• Intention is to repeat conditions to resolve and evolve the relationship.

– Overall totality of what we shared with another individual in past lives.

– How past life dynamics subconsciously influence our overall response or reaction to one another.
