What is Apartheid?

Apartheid was the official policy of racial segregation – in other words, Racism and

segregation in South Africa was the LAW, and if you were anything other than WHITE you were a

2nd class citizen

Segregation in South Africa included:

• Separate buses for blacks• Separate toilets for blacks• Separate schools for blacks• Separate beaches for

blacks• No right to vote• No right to marry a person

of another colour• Etc…

What is Zionism?

• Modern Day Zionism – arose in the late 19th Century, a movement to re-establish a Jewish State in ancient Israel

Realized by Theodore Herzl during the Dreyfus Affair – “Jews could never hope for fair treatment in European Society”

What is Racism?

Hatred or intelorance of another race or other races

What is Anti-Semitism?

The hatred towards, or the discrimination against Jews for reasons connected to the Jewish Heritage…therefore surely…

ANTI SEMITISM = RACISM?
