What is the Five-year MBA? At West Virginia Wesleyan College, students have the

opportunity to earn their Master’s in Business Administration while simultaneously obtaining their undergraduate degree.

Who can apply? Any West Virginia Wesleyan College student, regardless of

undergraduate major, can apply for the Five-year MBA program.

Students with at least a 3.0 undergrad GPA do not need to take the GMAT.

When can I apply? Students should apply in their junior year. Most students

typically begin the program by their senior year and study one additional year.

How does it work? Students will have both undergraduate and graduate

courses each semester until graduation.

Prerequisites are needed for some of the graduate courses and must be fulfilled prior to taking the course.

The curriculum consists of MBA core courses plus specific electives for either a standard MBA or a concentration in health care administration, nonprofit management, human resource management, or labor & law.

What do I need to apply? Each applicant needs to:

Complete the application for graduate admission to the MBA program*

Provide official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate coursework

Provide two recommendations, using the Graduate Recommendation Form*

Applicants with below a 3.0 GPA must provide and official report of the GMAT

Submit a Statement of Purpose for pursuing the MBA degree

Submit a current resume

Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

Demonstrate high levels of knowledge and skills in current theory and application in the four functional areas of business: accounting, finance, management, and marketing

Analyze complex business problems from a variety of strategic leadership and organizational perspectives
