Like all of aql’s services, SMS is delivered over secure and fully en-crypted channels. Secure protocols are used to protect data before it traverses any public or private networks.

To ensure availability of our services at all times we monitor 600,000 quality and security related metrics every day, including hardware, network and application layer attributes to ensure that our SMS systems are performing correctly and are always ready when needed by our clients.

Inbound SMS allows control over customer management, CRM integration and data collection. APIs provided by aql allow seam-less integration with clients’ systems and offer full control over their own SMS platform. The flowing options are available as part of the inbound SMS service:

• Geographic numbers – aql operate millions of geographic numbers capable of handling inbound SMS from global networks.• Virtual Mobile Numbers – choose a full-length mobile number through which clients and stakeholders can get in touch via SMS. All aql virtual mobile numbers have global coverage and are able to receive over 20 messages per second – perfect for high volume campaigns.• Short code – SMS messages can be sent to a memorable 5-num-ber code rather than a full number. For example, you can text text ‘Inbound’ to 64446 for more information on this service.

Sending out bulk messages is easy through the use of distribution lists and file import facilities. A bulk messaging campaign can be created in no time at all.

The E-Burst (one SMS to many) system speeds up the process of dis-pensing large amounts of SMS to predefined distribution lists at times when speed of communication is vital. The E-Burst feature offers a stra-tegic solution that can be a vital tool in crisis management situations.
