All electrically powered doors come equipped with an obstruction sensor which prevents

accidents due to crushing. If the door comes in contact with an obstruction (e.g., a ladder

or a scooter), it automatically stops and reverses without causing any damage.

Emergency release allows the user

to change to manual operation mode

in case of a power failure.

Another safety feature is the construction

of the sections forming the door blade

which eliminate the possibility of accidentally

crushing fi ngers on both sides of the door.

Photocells protect against crushing –

the door is lifted automatically when

any obstruction is detected at the

photocell line level.

Closing a manually operated door

can be done using deadbolt lock, which

eff ectively prevents the closed door from

being lifted from the outside.

Another solution used in KRISPOL garage

doors is a spring lock operable from both

sides and installed from the inside. The lock

is recommended in particular for doors

installed in garages without an additional

entrance.

Electrically operated garage doors are provided with a self-locking device which prevent the lowered

garage door from being lifted from the outside, therefore protecting against burglary.
