PHOTOSYNTHESIS CONT.

In addition to water and carbon dioxide, photosynthesis requires light and chlorophyll, a molecule found in chloroplasts.

Chlorophyll does not absorb green light very well.

Green light is reflected by leaves, which is why plants look green.
