Underground brass tunnel connetors
Application
• These connectors are suitable for connec-ting a wide range of solid circular alumi-nium or stranded copper.
Description
• These connectors are composed of :- Brass body.- Brass screw.
• Connectors are available in both Oval and “D” section variants :- Oval section connectors. Grub screws arefully recessed in the connector body.- “D” section connectors are supplied with socket head grub screws. Grub screws may stand proud of the connector body.- Available in both water blocked type(suffix W) or through type (suffix T).
Features and benefits
For Oval section connectors, grub screwsare fully recessed in the connector body:- Design especially suitable for use with
heat shrinkable sleeving.
Both Oval and “D” section connectors, connectors feature rifled bores:
- Improved conductivity.

• Designed for use in underground joints up to 36 kV
Description
• The connector is made of:• A tin plated aluminium alloy body having an axially centralised bore, its inner surface grooved at the
manufacturing stage provides good electrical contact with wires to be joined.• 2 or 4 Aluminium alloy clamping screws with a shear head in order to control the nominal optimum tightening
torque• Without or with a central barrier to allow connection between plastic to paper cables• 2 aluminium inserts fitted on the connector and to be used on the small sizes of conductors

A NEW SOLUTION FOR CONNECTING UNDERGROUND ALUMINIUM CABLES
This new range of connectors for aluminium 4 core sector cable features a
unique concept enabling the lug to be rotated to any desired position on the
conductor, without the need to round the conductor first. The design
embodies the tried and proven round barrel/hex compression die
combination, giving superior connection reliability.

Application
• These connectors are intented as endterminations for use on conductors of alltypes (stranded or solid, aluminium orcopper). They are especially suitable forthe copper neutral or CNE conductors ofLV service and mains cables. They canalso be used on the earth conductors andcopper screening wires of MV cables.
Description
• Unlike fittings made from pressed orforged tube, the blocked barrel of thesefittings prevents water passing throughthe palm to the barrel.
• These connectors are composed of :- Brass body.- Brass bolts.
• 3 basic sizes are available :- Covering up to 35sqmm.- Covering up to 60sqmm.- Covering from 50 to 120sqmm.

• These fittings are designed primarily for use on the solid sector shaped aluminium conductor (either 120 or 90 degree angle) of 3 or 4 core cables

• These connectors are composed of :- Cast aluminium body.- Shear head bolts.
• They are available in two basic types :- Palm with M12 clearance hole.- Palm with M16 clearance hole.
• Various bolt sizes are available for the LVET185-zz and the LVET300-zz connec-tors to suit different conductors. One bolt pack is required per connectors.The LVET120-zz uses only one size of boltand is supplied complete with the necessa-ry bolt pack.

Application
• These bimetallic bolted lugs are usedfor connection of aluminium or copperindustrial conductor, only forindoor application :
- LV connection on busbar insideelectrical panel and on compacttype circuit breaker (new generation).
Description
• The lug is made of aluminium barrel linkto a copper palm by friction weldingtechnology.
• The aluminium barrel is provided witha shear head bolt controllingthe tightening torque.
• Copper palm compatible with the palmsof the apparatus to be connected.
• No specific tools are required, only onebolt needed to ensure the tightening.
