It’s November and for me it means the prelude to the holiday season. It’s the time when I be-gin to think about holi-day preparations: shop-ping, entertaining and, of course, baking.

Yummy gingerbread!

One of the things that I always think about at Christmastime is the smell of gingerbread baking in the oven. As a child, gingerbread was a treat that we eagerly

anticipated, and to this day, the site of a ginger-bread house reminds me of home and my child-hood. As a tribute to “gingerbread” all newslet-ter subscribers will be eligible to win a home-made gingerbread house.
