Research on Ceiling Lamps

The common feature for all these lamps is the fact that the design is inspired from the origami. The shapes that are created as a result, create interesting effect and can add detail to the space.

Research on Kitchen Design

Origami Inspired KitchensI really like the idea of the

relief at the bottom part of the drawers and this pattern is

repeated. On the picture on the left, I find the whole big shapes interesting allowing endless possibilities for

movement and arrangement in the kitchen.

Research on Sofas

The picture on the left shows how detailed the origami style can look like, with so many angles and shapes. In a way this conveys a string and clear message about the concept.

I like the sofa leaned arms on the picture at the bottom right. In this way more space for dynamics of the surface is created.

Research on Stools and coffee tables

The table design in the middle would suit perfectly to my idea of Gaga’s interior. The only thing I would like to change is the materials.

I really like the pentagonal shape of the stools above. This is another shape I can use in my interior.

Pentagonal shapes can be seen on this table as well.

Research on origami design

The picture above shows an interesting example of a cupboard

opening, due to the triangular surface shapes.

I like how simply design is the TV wall, yet it still created dynamics, becauase the shapes are not aligned. I also like the wall on the right, with a scaled tree barked image used as a

wallpaper.

On the picture above the shapes with which the bed is surrounded create a dramatic effect. This is what I would like to do for Lady Gaga’s bedroom.

Another idea of the TV wall is to incorporate a decorative pattern and use less furniture on it.

The effect is still having a stylish environment.

Bathroom DesignIdeas

I really like on the picture on the left the tile arrangement and

what shapes are formed as a result.

The towel hanging idea looks very interesting

and innovative.

On both the pictures on the left, I like the two shelves one on top the other below, the sinks

arrangement and the big mirror above them.

Bathroom DesignIdeas

This bathroom is done on a computer program, but it looks very realistic. I like how with the help of mozaic, patterns are formed all around the space, although I would say at times it becomes too crowded with angular shapes and surfaces.

PradaNew collection under the

japanese influence and the origami folds

relation to Gaga’s apartment concept

‘The whole collection was based on the independent mind of the woman, the impossibilities for women, expressing the sentiments and feelings of women. It was also based on the rectangular folding shape and the flower.’ says Prada. As far as the Japanese aspects of the show are concerned this is what she told Elle Magazine: ‘Yes, Japanese in the sense of the same tough, rigorous approach, but very delicate also.’

Inspirations from lady gaga’s Style

When looking through Lady Gaga’s outfits, I noticed how often she was wearing geometrical clothes, with crystal or prism shapes. This is where my idea came from to design a space having this kind of shapes and patterns in it.

Inspiration fromlady gaga’s Style

From these images, I saw a colour pattern coming up such as the combination between gold and black and the purple and white. I also noticed that Lady Gaga uses a lot of glitter in her outfits, which is another idea for my design.
