Important notes for teachers: 1. In the overview the duration for each module is from12 to 14 blocks .

2. Activities included in the revision section at the end of each module in Get Smart could be considered as

enrichment (extra practice).

3. The teacher’s book provides references and/or suggested ideas for enriching and extending the student book content. It is recommended that teachers use them to add more prompts and exercises for deeper coverage of the standards.

4. Extra blocks will be dedicated to Project Based Learning (PBL).(2 blocks in the second semester.) Kindly refer back to the guidelines of PBL for further understanding.

5. An extra curricular activity as Reading will be covered within time allocated for clubs.

6. Kindly refer back to the main focus column in the semester overviews for each lesson.

7. Refer back to the GUIDELINES OF TEACHING THE FOUR SKILLS in planning ,teaching and implementing new ideas .

8. Refer back to the GUIDELINES OF READING PROGRAMME to ckeck the timelines and the procedures.

9. During Mid term exams ,you are supposed to continue teaching the modules to avoid any delay .

10. Make use of the flash cards book as a supplementary resource to teach the different language skills.
