Instructions for Candidates
Reporting Time & Venue
Students are to report by 07:35 am at the Parade Square for their first paper (including Wednesday papers).
In case of rain, students are to report by 07:35 am to their respective classrooms for morning assembly. They will then report to their examination venue after morning assembly.
If they are not sitting for the first paper in the morning, students are to report to school at least 30 minutes before the start of the paper, and to report directly to the examination venue at least 15 minutes before the start of the second paper
Students need not report to school on the day(s) they have no papers.

Items to Bring for Examinations
• Bring all necessary identification documents and stationery items required including: – National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or School SmartCard
– Approved calculators and MTL dictionaries only. The working condition of the calculator / Dictionary (including the power supply) is the responsibility of the candidates. https://www.seab.gov.sg/home/examinations/approved-dictionaries
– Mathematical set / curve ruler / long ruler
– Relevant stationery including pencil (for shading / drawing purposes) and erasers
where applicable, into the examination venue.
No borrowing of stationery/calculators/MTL dictionaries from teachers or students is allowed.

Instructions for Candidates
Before the Start of All Papers
Use the restrooms before the examination papers (before morning assembly).
Move quickly and quietly after Morning Assembly to the respective Examination Venues and await further instructions from the invigilator.
All communication devices should already be switched off and placed in bags.
Leave bags in front of the classroom (where the invigilator can see).
Ensure that you do not have any notes/pieces of papers with you.

Before the Start of All Papers
- Sit according to index number / paper as instructed by the invigilator.
- Place NRIC or School SmartCard on the table.
- Students are to check that they have received the CORRECT PAPER.
- Students are to check that their paper has the correct number of printed pages.
- Read the instructions on the cover page carefully. Do not turn over the question paper unless you are told to do so by the invigilator.

During the Paper
- Write your full name, index number and class on the i. Question Paper and ii. Every set of paper/insert/foolscap to be submitted.
- Any form of communication is strictly prohibited.
- You are not allowed to leave the Examination Venue 15 minutes after the start of the paper and 15 minutes before the end of the paper.

At the End of All Papers
- Tie all answer scripts in order.
- Submit all answer scripts and question papers to the invigilator.
- Return all unused writing papers to the invigilator.
- Remain in your seat quietly and follow the instructions given by the
invigilator.
- Crush and throw away all used and unwanted papers.
Instructions for Candidates
For the Second Paper
- If you are sitting for a second paper, please go for a short break and report to the Examination Venue at least 15 minutes before the start of the next paper.
- Do not enter the venue until the invigilator tells you to do so.
- If you have no more papers for the day, please leave the school and go home immediately to revise for your following papers.

All students must be in proper school uniform (including
Fridays) with proper appearance as specified in the school

Punctuality
Students who are late for any paper will report directly to
the respective examination venues.
No extra time will be given for late-comers.

Dishonesty
The school takes a serious view of any dishonesty.
A student who commits or attempts any acts of dishonesty, or the abetment of such acts, could be awarded a zero mark for that paper.
Disciplinary actions will be taken.
Invigilator will escort student(s) suspected of cheating to the General Office immediately after the paper.
Students could be awarded a zero mark for that paper.

Absence from Examinations
Attendance at all examinations is compulsory.
Students who are absent for any paper are required to submit a valid medical certificate to their Form Teachers immediately upon their return to school.*
There will be no make up examination.
Please call and inform the school or Form Teachers.
A zero mark will be awarded for the paper where a student is absent without any medical certificate.
Important Things to Note
By 25 Sept (Wednesday)
All students are to ensure that tables and chairs are
properly arranged in single rows.
All books/files to be brought home for revision.
Relevant information on the noticeboard(s) are removed
or covered up.
