For over four decades, Dvigala Susnik has manufactured top

quality elevator systems and components for commercial,

freight, service and residential use. Our commitment to quality

began with Mr. Filip Susnik and the Dvigala Susnik Company,

which originally began producing, installing and maintaining el-

evators throughout Yugoslavia in 1967. Thirty six years later, SEC

ltd purchased the company. SEC has been prospering since

then, with facility expansions in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, further

expansion took place consolidating all administrative activities

in a new Ljubljana headquarters ofce.

The heart of SEC’s success lies in the dedicated professionals

who ensure a top quality product from concept to completion.

Each skilled craftsman and technician plays an important role in

the development of a SEC system. Whether large or small, each

component is vital to the entire system. Each worker takes pride

in contributing to the SEC team. Our employees take great care

in the elevators they build as well as the people who use them.

SEC provides vertical transportation systems for a wide variety

of applications. We provide lift systems for commercial, freight,

service/hospital, and residential use. Our commercial eleva-

tors are perfect for use in hotels, shopping malls, ofces, and

many more commercial buildings. Our clients can choose from

our large selection of standard packages, or have one custom

designed.

If you require heavy cargo to be moved, our freight elevators

can handle the job. Our dual roped freight elevator can be

used as an automotive lift, as a heavy material handler, in con-

vention centres to move materials efciently, or just about any-

where large capacity lifts are needed.

At SEC, we believe in providing the right elevator for the right

building. We have a wide variety of standard elevators to

choose from, or we can provide your business with a solution to

t your individual needs.

If your building requires a lift system and you have space limita-

tions, SEC has the solution. SEC’s limited use / limited applica-

tion elevators are ideal for retrot applications such as, schools,

churches, condos, lodges, or libraries. This SEC lift line requires

limited space and features a roped hydraulic design. We offer

a wide variety of standard lift systems, or customized packages

to t your needs.

Every elevator system and component we produce has the

SEC seal of approval. All systems are 100% pre-tested and pre-

adjusted to ensure smooth and accurate installations. Each sys-

tem has to pass a series of rugged tests, before we ship them.

If it meets our high quality standards, we are condent it will

exceed yours.

SEC - Always better lifts

Of all modes of transport, it is probably the

elevator wich starts and stops most fre-

quently. The service life of an elevator de-

pends on several factors, most importantly

frequency of use, but also operating con-

ditions, treatment by passengers, mainte-

nance etc. Generally, the service life can

be estimated at between 20 to 25 years.

The better the conditions, the longer the

life. Service life isn’t the only consideration,

of course. There are many other reasons to

consider SEC elevator modernization pro-

gram to upgrade your building’s facilities,

especially if the elevator installation is over

20 years old.

Enhance passenger service

The microprocessor’s smooth and precisecontrol of the elevator’s movements re-

duces the running time by approximately

20% compared to the traditional AC two-

speed control systems with relays. For group

control elevators, the average waiting time

for passengers at each oor is reduced by

between 20% to 40% compared with our

previous system.

Increase safety

Many new demands for elevators are

obliged in the last years to increase safety.

Use of electronic cabin overload detec-

tors, full door heigh safety barriers, voice

modules, and emergency communication

systems increase passenger’s safety.

Save energy

VVVF inverters offer more efcient control of

the driving motor to save power consump-

tion by between 40% to 50% compared

with the traditional AC two-speed system.

Improve total qualityThe advanced system uses the latest elec-

tronics components to deliver reliability,

exibility and precise performance. The

comfort of the ride and the accuracy

of leveling can also be rened, while the

VVVF door control system provides smooth-

er, more efcient door control.

Refurbish the elevator image

There is a wide choice of design men-

ues available to meet your requirements.

Choose one of the design variations in ac-

cordance with the needs of your building.

CALYPSOmachineroomless elevators

SEC VERTICAL Hhydraulic elevators withmachine room

Hydraulic elevators for duty load up to 8000

kg and speed up to 0,8 m/s are available

under request. For almost all elevators it

is possible to replace machine room with

cabinet. Cabinet dimensions are different

depend on power unit size and are availa-

ble under request. Here are some standard

hoistway dimensions and electrical data

for standard elevators in 1:2 suspension sys-

tem.

CALYPSO machine room less elevator (MRL)is driven by permanent magnet gearless

synchronous motor G400 made by Sassiaccording to SEC technical specications. This machine is the latest development inpermanent magnets synchronous tractionmotors technology for the lifts. This lift isdesigned as 1:1 direct acting system or 2:1roping system.

Advantage of solution with 1:1 ropingsystem and cantilever sling is possibility todesign elevators with up to three entranceson the cabin or three side panoramicelevators.

CALYPSO has E-type serial control systemwhich is partly located on top of the carand mainly in the control panel situated inthe side wall next to the top landing door. This advanced technology also helps tosave space and to simplify maintenanceand service. It is also compatible with EN 81-70 (DDA)regulations.

TITANelectric elevators for high rise

and high speed

TELESTOmachineroomless elevators

TITAN is our elevator program for mid- andhigh-rise markets worldwide. It is suitablefor both residential and commercial ap-plications up to 150m rise. Titan offers youthe performance of a customized elevatorand a variety of designs. Many optional so-lutions increase performance of completesystem:

Intelligent dispatchingSEC have powerful control system basedon a simple principle: to bring passengers totheir destinations sooner, with less crowdingand more comfort than any conventionalelevator system. When an elevator is calledgroup control know how many people arebehind the call and what is each passen-ger’s destination. This way group controlreduce passenger’s journy times during up-peak trafc and eliminate crowding duringheavy trafc.

Precise performancePerfect ride is acheved by multiple closed-loop systems wich constantly monitor acar’s performance, measuring every as-pect against predeterminated standardsand correcting the slightest deviation with-in milliseconds.

Intelligent doorTo increase passenger safety and to re-duce door opening time special 3dimen-sional entrance protection system can beused. This system creates an invisible safetynet across the elevator entrance and alsoextends into the hallway. The microproces-sor controller continually scans for interrupt-ed beams and reopens the door withoutcoming into contact with the passenger.

TELESTO machine room less elevator (MRL)

is optimal price/performance systemwhich gives maximal results for a minimalprice. Sassi Leo geared machine is alwayspositioned in the top of the shaft. Solutionwith 1:1 roping system can achieve up to1 m/s speed and 630 kg duty load. Thissolution is designed in order to make priceeffective simple product for all standardcases. However solution with 2:1 ropingsystem offer speed up to 1,6 m/s and 1600kg duty load or more. This solution gives alladvantages of machine room less elevatorat still very acceptable price. Values in thetechnical table are for standard dimensionsbut according to demand we can designelevator suitable for any existing shaft.

As a control system E-type serial solution isused. This excellent electronic system hasmany advantages such as EN 81-70 (DDA)specications. It is worth to mention that E-type control system can offer full monitoringremote system over the internet as newestdeveloped software by SEC.
