Musical Theatre: Learn to Sing

Do you sing in front of your mirror, but never in front of a crowd? In this fun and interactive

class, you will learn proper singing techniques including diaphragm breathing, singing

without straining and even some harmonies! You’ll learn songs from Disney (The Lion King,

Mary Poppins, Peter Pan) and popular musicals like You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and

Snoopy the Musical. Develop your confidence and work towards performing a song to family

and friends on the last day of class!

DRAWING AND PAINTING

Drawing and painting is a fun activity that helps encourage creativity. The children will learn the

different techniques to make their art stand out. Your kids will feel a sense of accomplishment

and pride when they finish their works of art.

Bricks4Kidz

Using specialized LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, and electric motors to let children

construct a variety of Bricks 4 Kidz motorized models designed by teachers, architects and

engineering professionals. The STEM-based, hands-on curriculum will introduce children to the

concept of engineering, architecture and mechanics. It enhances children’s knowledge and skills

in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math while improving their teamwork, organization and

communication skills.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic Gymnastics is an elegant sport both in physique and performance. It involves

the use of body movements with apparatus by throwing and catching the apparatus (rope,

hoop, ball, ribbon, and clubs). Students will put the skills together in choreographed

routines with music.

Cooking With Kids

This program features fun and healthy recipes that are low cost and kid friendly.

Participants will learn techniques and strategies used in the kitchen. Let’s start cooking!

Multisport– City Of Port Moody

Learn this exciting and fast-moving sport. Develop

your skills, learn rules and strategies. The purpose of the Multisport program is to provide

participants with fun introduction into the world of sports! Participants will enjoy games and

drills that work on a variety of skills used in various sports. This program is designed to provide

a fun, safe and supportive environment for all those taking part.

Enjoy fun science experiments for kids that feature awesome hands-on projects and activities that

help bring the exciting world of science to life.

Join us in solving the daily mysteries of Port Moody. We will explore disguises, secret codes,

spy gadgets, disappearing ink and secret compartments. This program will promote creative

thinking, problem solving and teamwork.

Outdoor Education– City of Port Moody

Come enjoy our outdoor program as we explore the world of nature. This program will en-

compass the teachings of basic outdoor etiquette, exploration, environmental awareness and

what it means to be a citizen of nature.

Karelo accepts payment using Visa or MasterCard from most major

banks.

You can get instant confirmation of your spots in the programs you

choose. You will require an email address in order to get your

confirmation # and print out a receipt for your payment.
