ZERO WASTE WORKSHOPThis workshop is a space for reflection on the environmental impact caused by waste and how we can live without generating it. We will show you how we are eliminating single-use plastics at PortAventura World and you will learn about new materials and alternatives that we are testing to minimise the generation of waste.

In this workshop, you will also discover how to use materials in a sustainable manner to bring us closer to the circular economy: from obtaining raw materials and resources (renewable and non-renewable) to reducing waste, reusing materials and recycling.

BIODIVERSITY WORKSHOPYou will take a deep dive into the concept of biodiversity and learn more about the origin, behaviour, and ecology of exotic birds from the Aves del Paraíso show at PortAventura Park from a unique point of view. A biologist who specialises in these fantastic creatures will show you live specimens and demonstrate some of their skills and fascinating characteristics.

In addition, it will teach the importance of protecting the diversity of species and conserving their natural habitats and, as if that were not enough,

you will discover some of the ecosystems present in PortAventura Park.

The hotel will be allocated through the Hotel Roulette system: PortAventura will confirm the name of the hotel one week prior to the group’s arrival. The hotelmay be any of those within the resort (PortAventura, Caribe, Gold River and El Paso), always respecting the distribution of rooms and the selected board basis.

HOTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SCHOOLS• Final prices per person/night (VAT included), with Full Board basis consisting of hotel

buffet breakfast and evening meal (including filtered water) and set lunch menu in PortAventura World parks (starter, main course, dessert and drink) subject to specific food outlets and their opening times. The availability of places at these rates is limited to 1,000 overnight stays.

• Half Board option (hotel buffet breakfast and evening meal): reduction of €8 per person/night.

• Upon arrival at the hotel the school group will be required to pay a cash security deposit of €10 per child.

• Groups must include at least 20 paying pupils.

• Free accommodation (under the same board basis as the rest of the group): one for every 20 paying pupils (sharing a room), and one driver per coach, upon presentation of accreditation (in multiple room).

1 INTRODUCTION: These General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase, on the part of the end consumer or a travel agency (hereinafter CLIENT) of accommodation services for GROUPS (the term GROUP is defined in section 3) in any of the hotels managed by Port Aventura Entertainment, S.A.U., (hereinafter PAESA), with address at Avda. Alcalde Pere Molas, km 2, postcode 43480, Vila-seca, Tarragona, Tax Identification No. A63776306, entered in the Tarragona Companies Register in volume 2504, folio 158, page number T-40.500, 1st registration, which are currently H. PortAventura (HT-000760), H. El Paso (HT-000770), H. Caribe (HT-000772), H. Gold River (HT-000855), H. Colorado Creek (HT-004868) and H. Mansión de Lucy (HT-000888).

2 PRICE: The final prices (including VAT) for the CLIENT are those shown in the Groups brochure and the booking confirmation letter. Prices may be amended as provided for by law.

2.1: These rates will include, solely and exclusively, the services indicated in the brochure and/or booking confirmation and do not include any additional services not expressly stated in these documents.

Likewise, the tax on stays in tourist establishments is not included in these prices. This tourist tax, unless otherwise agreed, must be paid by the CLIENT in advance or at the time of check-in. The amount payable is €0.99 (VAT included) per person/night in PortAventura World’s 4* hotels, and €2.48 (VAT included) in the resort’s 5* hotel, for a maximum of 7 nights (guests aged 16 years old and under are exempt).

In this regard, please note that any of the elements or provisions of services resulting from accommodation bookings may be changed or cancelled due to safety, operational or technical reasons, as well as for weather reasons or any other causes of force majeure, in accordance with the internal regulations or operational terms and conditions for each of the services included in the accommodation booking.

2.2: Rates for children. Accommodation is provided free of charge for children under 2 years old. For children between the ages of 2 and 12 years (inclusive), the applicable rate will be the one shown in the brochure and/or PAESA quote or, if relevant, stated by the corresponding hotel. We reserve the right to request documentation proving the age of the child at any time. If the age cannot be proven, the corresponding rates will be applied at the discretion of PAESA or the hotel.

2.3: When accommodation is booked as part of a special last minute or equivalent offer, at a price different from that stated in the brochure, the services included in the price are only those that are specifically detailed in the offer. The methods of payment and cancellation applicable to these offers will be expressly specified in the corresponding contract.

3 FORMALISATION OF BOOKINGS: The following information must be taken into consideration when booking accommodation:

- A group means a minimum of 20 paying guests.

- For group bookings, PAESA reserves the right to request from the person responsible for the group a security deposit of €10 per student or young person at check-in.

- Booking requests may be made up to 24 hours before the visit, subject to room availability.

- The rooming list must be sent at least 15 days before arrival. Changes made less than 4 days prior to arrival at the hotel will not be accepted.

- The rooming list must indicate full names, addresses and national identity document numbers as well as the number of rooms desired, ages, arrival and departure dates, type of room, meal and board basis, desired hotel (except in the case of Hotel Roulette bookings) and the name of the person making the booking.

In particular, the number of children staying who are under 12 years of age must be stated. If not specified, PAESA will invoice the adult price. Booking requests that are not properly completed will be treated as not received, thus exonerating PAESA from any booking obligations.

The booking will be cancelled if the rooming list is not received within the specified time limit.

The request must be sent by the CLIENT to PAESA by e-mail addressed to: [email protected].

Once PAESA receives the booking request, it will send a quote for the booking together with the relevant general terms and conditions. When the quote and its general conditions have been accepted, PAESA will send the booking agreement containing the following information in detail: the accommodation reserved, the total amount of the booking and payment method, in accordance with the provisions of these General Conditions or, for special offers, those expressly agreed. The contract and its conditions will be deemed accepted when the CLIENT makes the first required payment. In the case of bookings made for children, the authorisation of the parents or guardians is mandatory.

4 CONFIRMATION OF THE BOOKING REQUEST, PAYMENT TERMS AND BOOKING REFERENCE: Confirmation of the booking request: The booking will be subject to full payment of the amount due and receipt of the rooming list within the previously stipulated time limit. Terms of payment:

4.1: GROUPS OF 49 ROOM NIGHTS OR LESS

- No more than 30 days before arrival: 10% of the total amount of the booking made.



- No more than 4 days before arrival: the outstanding balance.

4.2: GROUPS OF 50 ROOM NIGHTS OR MORE



- No more than 15 days before arrival: the outstanding balance.

4.3: In both cases, if, depending on the days in advance of the reservation and the percentages indicated above, there are payments that should have been made prior to the group's confirmation, these outstanding percentages will be added and will have to be paid in a single payment no later than 48 hours after the reservation confirmation.

4.4: Hotel Roulette system: School group bookings will be made through the Hotel Roulette system. Through this booking system, the CLIENT requests bookings for a specific date at one of the PortAventura World hotels.

Hotels are allocated at the discretion of PAESA, and the client is notified of the hotel allocated at least one week before arrival.

5 METHOD OF PAYMENT: Payments may be made by the CLIENT by bank transfer to the following account:

6 CANCELLATIONS: It is permitted to make the following reduction without costs to the services contracted at the time of confirmation according to the following periods of notification of the cancellation before arrival:

6.1: GROUPS OF 49 ROOM NIGHTS OR LESSUp to 31 days: may cancel free of charge 100% of the services contracted.- Between 30 and 15 days: may cancel free of charge 90% of the services contracted.- Between 14 and 8 days: may cancel free of charge 65% of the services contracted.- Between 7 and 4 days: may cancel free of charge 15% of the services contracted.- Between 3 and 0 days and no shows: may cancel free of charge 0% of the services contracted.

6.2: GROUPS OF 50 ROOM NIGHTS OR MORE- Up to 45 days: may cancel free of charge 100% of the services contracted.- Between 44 and 30 days: may cancel free of charge 75% of the services contracted.- Between 29 and 15 days: may cancel free of charge 25% of the services contracted.- Cancellations made no more than 2 weeks before arrival or no shows: may cancel free of charge 0% of the services contracted.

6.3: In either of the two cases above:If the reductions exceed the percentages indicated above, a penalty will be applied to 100% of the contracted services that exceed the permitted reduction.Contracted services are understood as those included in the reservation confirmation corresponding to the price of the room (which includes unlimited access to PortAventura Park and a day of access to Ferrari Land) and the contracted board basis. Other additional contracted services are excluded.

7 MODIFICATIONS: Any modification to the booking must be communicated by e-mail and approved by PAESA.

- If the modification involves an increase in services, this increase will be added to the amount payable at the time of booking and will be subject to availability.

- Changes to dates will be processed as a cancellation of the initial booking and will entail generation of a new quote corresponding to the creation date of the new booking, notwithstanding the application of penalties based on the date. PAESA reserves the right to charge a handling fee for any modifications made to existing bookings.

- Modifications cannot be made from 48 hours before the group’s arrival.

- Modifications involving a decrease in value will be subject to the application of penalties for cancellation of services according to the terms set out in the agreement.

8 EARLY DEPARTURE: If the CLIENT departs from the room before the date stated in the booking, PAESA may request 100% of the total amount of the booking made.

9 CHECK-IN: Check-in at the hotels is from 3 pm and rooms must be vacated before 11 am. If the CLIENT does not comply with the check-out time, PAESA reserves the right to either: deem the stay extended by one day or take possession of the accommodation and remove the CLIENT’s belongings, making an inventory of them in the presence of two witnesses.

10 CARIBE AQUATIC PARK: CLIENTS staying at Hotel PortAventura, Hotel El Paso, Hotel Caribe, Hotel Gold River, Hotel Colorado Creek and Hotel Mansión de Lucy have special access to Caribe Aquatic Park. Consult the terms and conditions described in the Programme for each hotel.

Please note that all visits must be made in accordance with the dates and times that the facilities are open to the public and availability of space. No claims may be made if access is restricted due to limited capacity.

11 OPERATIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The use and enjoyment of any of PortAventura World’s facilities will be in accordance with the operational terms and conditions applicable to each of them. These rules are available to the CLIENT at the information desks located in each of PortAventura World’s facilities.

12 VALIDITY: The brochure is valid from March 2021 to January 2022 except for programmes that specify other dates and notwithstanding the specific opening periods for each separate facility.

13 HEALTH AND SAFETY: See the preventive measures adopted by PortAventura World at www.portaventuraworld.com.
