10/30/2014 - Washington, D.C. - In mid-November, the Concert Band and vocalistsfrom the Singing Sergeants are hitting theroad for a 5-day tour through North Carolina.The performances will be conducted by theBand's newest officer, Lt. Col. DonaldSchofield Jr. This is his second assignmentwith The U.S. Air Force Band, WashingtonD.C. From 2001 to 2003, he was handpickedto serve as the tenth director of the Air ForceStrings where he led performances across the country, and at the White House, Pentagonand Washington National Cathedral before international audiences.Read more »
