Intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS™ Abutments
• Increased connectivity for ATLANTIS Abutments by adding the intraoral scanning option
• Starting with iTero
Increased connectivity
Workflow
• Indications– For all positions in the mouth– Clinical invasive
• Intended use– The ATLANTIS IO FLO (body and screw)
should be used by clinicians during digital impression taking on implant level.
– The ATLANTIS IO FLO should be used to transfer implant position(s) in the patient’s mouth to a digital model.
ATLANTIS™ IO FLO
FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY
Intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS™ Abutments• Target groups
– Dental clinics with access to iTero intraoral scanner• Existing ATLANTIS Abutments customers• Potential ATLANTIS Abutments customers
– Dental laboratories working together with Dental clinics with iTero access
Increased connectivity
Intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS™ Abutments with iTero• Schedule
‒ Beta II start in NA Feb 2014‒ Announcement – Chicago Midwinter Meeting and AO
Seattle‒ April 2014
• NA Pre-launch‒ Goal is to activate 10 clinical customers per month from Pre-Launch (April)

ATLANTIS™ Conus abutments
ATLANTIS Conus abutment – overdenture
What is ATLANTIS™ Conus abutment?ATLANTIS™ Conus Abutment is a uniquely designed conical shaped abutment that incorporates a friction fit implant born prosthesis while being removable like an overdenture. This innovative conical telescopic coping technique allows optimal access for oral hygiene while providing the patient a cost effective treatment option.
ATLANTIS Conus abutment – overdenture
Features‒ Simplified restorative procedure‒ No adaptation of stock components‒ Freedom of implant connections, products
and material
ATLANTIS Conus abutment – overdenture
Benefits‒ Time saving - increased profitability‒ Reduce chair time‒ For the major implant systems, a wide
flexibility in therapy and design options‒ Implant born prosthesis not tissue born
ATLANTIS™ Conus abutmentsfor attachment-retained restorations
ATLANTIS™ Conus Abutment -overdenture
For removable overdentures designed to fit ANKYLOS SynCone caps
ATLANTIS™ Conus Abutment -custom For removable bridges/ overdentures with more individual design options
New ATLANTIS
solution
Standardized conus solution withANKYLOS tapered cap for SynCone
• ATLANTIS Conus Abutment - overdenture core is designed to match ANKYLOS SynCone 4º caps
• Caps and polymerization sleeves will not be orderable via ATLANTIS WebOrder. Customer orders caps/sleeves from local DENTSPLY Implants Representative ‒ SynCone 4º caps –Ref #31021889‒ Polymerization sleeve – Ref #31021890
• Refer to ”The SynCone concept,” ID 32670028-USX• Scientific highlight available: ANKYLOS SynCone –
long term clinical follow-up, ID 79641-USX
ATLANTIS Conus Abutment - overdenture• Parallel, one-size abutments for removable prostheses
(recommended for full arch overdenture restorations)• Milled to fit SynCone 4°caps (ordered separately)
Copings can also be produced manually by the customer• The position of the abutments will be in relation to the
space needed for the final restoration and a diagnostic tooth set-up is always required
• Abutments will be placed with margin levels as close to soft tissue level as possible
Design options Capture of ANKYLOS SynCone Cap1. Immediate restoration (intra oral) chair side - pick up of copings
to an existing denture. 2. Indirect (laboratory process) with or without a framework.
Fabricated by the laboratory in an existing or new denture.- Without framework - for temporary solutions

Engineering: Load tests• “Static” and “dynamic” load testing is used to
determine:– Optimal geometry of bar profiles– Maximum survivable length of extensions
• Occlusal forces = bite + chewing (forces)– Max. bite force is 220N/single tooth– Max. chewing force is 50N/single tooth
