Many organisations today utilise Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms for the management of business documents and will, no doubt, have multiple repositories in place to support teams, departments and business processes. All too often, due to the lack of consistent and reliable integrations between the MS Office suite and leading repository technologies, business content is manipulated outside of these secure and compliant environments. Users can also find it difficult to find, open, create and update business documents that are managed in document repositories. So that organisations can realise the benefits of deploying ECM technologies, ECM vendors have attempted to resolve these issues by developing integrations between their ECM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite. Such integrations, whilst delivering a standard set of integrated features, do not easily lend themselves to real-world implementations, are fixed to specific repository technologies and are not easily extended. In order for non-technical users to realise the benefits of an enterprise content management system, they must be able to adopt it quickly and with minimal interruption to their day-to-day activities.

ConXOffice from SynApps Solutions enables users to work seamlessly with content repositories directly within the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

ConXOffice enables users, with minimal end-user training, to access the basic content services of enterprise content management systems directly from the MS Office application suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; whilst enabling organisations to secure, manage and archive business information for governance and compliance purposes.
